so, the untouchable and a daemon bump into each other...

By drathe, in Dark Heresy Rules Questions

and what happens? does the untouchables presence affect the daemon in any way?

where can i find rules for untouchables? i have the RT rulebook which says that they give -5 psy rating in radius of 5m around them and that besides that all other rules for untouchables apply. so, where are those rules? did i miss something? because i cannot seem to find them in DH rulebook.

They are detailed in both DoDG, and RH.

The Untouchable's presence would make the daemon especially vunerable to Warp Instability, effectively doubling any damage it takes while the Untouchable is present. Also, the Untouchable inflicts a penalty on all Power manifestations and associated Willpower tests, which would certainly hamper many of the daemon's attempts to influence the material realm.

Untouchable Rules (short version)

Psychic Invulnerability

Untouchable is completely immune to all psychic powers and effects. This is a passive ability and cannot be turned off so Untouchable cannot be affected by pyschic healing or similar beneficial power even if he wanted to.

Psychic Disruption

All psychic powers and abilities manifested at the immeadeate area (a radius equal to Untouchables willpower in meters) have their threshold increased by 10 and any associated test by psyker (willpower tests etc.) have their difficulty increased by 20. In addition entities subject to Warp Instability will suffer double damage while in this area.

Untouchable vs. Daemon = Seriously Pissed Daemon. Hope the double damage was enough to cast it back to warp, because Seriously Pissed Daemon is something you won't want to see on your face... or whats left of it.

Polaria has given you pretty much the whole of the rules in the supplements mentioned; the only other thing is that a character with the Untouchable trait has a severely reduced Fellowship score - having it halves your Fel according to DotDG, or applies a -10 reduction (with a further -10 to all Fellowship-based Tests) according to RH.

Willpower Bonus not just willpower, that would be a long range...

while that is the official rules I play with that they also inflict Malediction on any deamon (except daemonhosts) they come in physical contact with.
