Corellian Conflict - Back of Package

I love it, thank you now! This confirms a few things for me.

1) objectives will change the way the game is played both mentally and physically

2) the Aces are going to be amazing

3) that I was right and that station DOES have 13 hull

Shara Bay is actually obscene. Counter 3 plus 1 damage.

I have a sneaky suspicion that the Dagger Squadron shapes a black from its Battery for a blue.

If I'm reading it right, it looks like the armed station has 2 red, 2 blue anti-squad... That's pretty scary. Wonder what the anti-ship & arcs will look like.

****, Blockcade Run sounds awesome! I can't wait to read the full card.

Nope, you get it now! All hail Stev, the Bothan lord! Newest raised to the ranks of the Bothinian peerage by meritrocratic right! :)

Seriously, and once again, thanks a ton mate. I've been dying to see what those objectives were, and both look like they could be great.

Now it is time to start ENHANCING the portions of the map visible in stev's pic.

Do you want a better picture of the map I can try to take another I'm still at the convention?

Did you really need to ask Master Bothan?

ALL THE PICTURES!!!

The back of the map is at an angle it is hard to even read with the eye.

Ask the staff questions, such as how a game turn runs, what's the difference between a campaign objective and a normal one etc!

All that is here are sales team but I'll ask

Blockade run sure sounds interesting. 2 foot section in the center, first player tries to defend the DMZ, and I'm guessing that seconds player scores by keeping their ships alive. The real question is, do they have to survive all six rounds to do it?

I think they have to get past somehow

Thanks for the hookup Stev. You the man!

Guys did not know anything about the campaign they just sales guys. Also the liberty and interdictor are about the same size next to each other.

Looks like one player - the blockade runner - gets an objective token and places it on each of his ships and then they play.

When certain conditions that I can read are met, players get the tokens. The blockade runner may have to get his ships to within 1 or maybe 2 range rulers of his opponents deployment edge or off the table on that edge to score his Victory Tokens, the blockade player probably destroys a ship and will get that ships Victory Token. At the end of the game each token would be worth some amount of points I would go for 10 or 15 myself.

I wonder if that restriction of board width will upset Demo enough that he can't quite do as well, more so too as the player running the blockade can set up further away than normal and better react to Demo's setup position.

Probably the wrong movie franchise, but did you make them an offer they couldn't refuse to buy the box and its contents?

Failing that find out their hotel room and put a Droids head in their bed.

Actually, Demolisher is probably one of the smartest options. Unlike most Imperial ships, it can turn around relatively very quickly with minimal trouble thanks to Engine Techs. And with the narrower board, it's going to be harder to skate around it and to the rear like with VSDs or even ISDs. It should do very well at hunting down small nimble threats.

I actually think that the Red mission card favors Rebels very well on both sides. By narrowing the board, it makes Imperials forced into a very narrow channel to bypass Rebel ships, and this will allow a lot of the Rebel broadside fleets like Ackbar AF2s, MC30s and MC80s to have sustained fire in a very narrow area, even as Imperial ships get past the initial line.

Might be fun to try in a future vassal tournament.

Yeah, but won't a narrower board also mean that it will be a lot harder to avoid imp front arcs before those broadsides can happen?

No harder than it is now. How often do you need the entire 6x3 space to avoid combat? Most people can skate around with just the 3ft especially if coming in from the far corners.

Im glad I could help you guys in honor of all the bothans who fell before me.

A guy in my Armada Facebook group was able to get a clearer picture of the card text. Sorry for link. I am on my phone.
