Give the Firespray a Turret Slot

Second crew slot instead of the missile and bomb slots wouldn't hurt. It's got plenty of room inside.

The Firespray probably should have had three crew slots. Have you seen how large its command center is?

If the Firespray gets 3 crew slots, the YV-666 needs to have 30 crew slots.

turret doesn't actually help the ghost all that much, definetly nowhere as much as the incredible stats that the lothal gets over the firespray

you get a shoddier dial and no aux arc, but a 4 dice primary and 6 health for the loss of some useless green dice

Compare the size of the Firesprays bridge with that of the YV-666.

Actually, yeah. Second crew slot is probably a way better idea. Helps the Imperial and Scum version quite a bit, without the absurdity of PS10 Autblaster Turret Boba.

... but I really want that Boba, though.

Technically you can already have an Autoblaster Boba @PS10, fortunately front arc only. With Dengar or K4 and Engine Upgrade he's pretty fun too ;-) (yes I know he gets his own rerolls, but if you're not surrounded by enemy ships, a little help from Dengar or a TL doesn't hurt).

You may use the maneuvering dial of a G-1A Starfighter instead of a Firespray maneuvering dial.

Someone once mentioned that the deal with the Slave I was that our man Boba had customized it do an absurd degree, and that the highly customizable nature of it was kind of the point. Sounded cool to me. What about this?

Your upgrade bar gains a [system Upgrade], [Torpedo] and [Crew] upgrade icon.

You cannot equip more than 5 upgrade cards to this ship.

That'd be 5 upgrade cards total, including the title (so four other upgrades, in total, including the EPT). This way, you can customize your own shiny Firespray (without the option of a broken autoblaster turret, you jerks), but can't stack enough mods on it to make it super outrageous.

Meh? I dunno. I just want Boba to have a little something extra. He's a cool guy.

I just want a re-do of the Slave 1 title that adds a systems slot or a tech slot or something. Slave 1 should have way better tech than a generic firespray.

I know, but somehow costing 150% more and only covering 25% as much area, it just isn't as appealing. No idea why.

Eh not sure about 3 crew but 2 would make sense.

Decimator is the only one that has 3 crew slots, everything else that "should" has something else instead. Heck the Huge Ships should have like 6 crew but they gave us crappy "Teams" instead lol

You would end up with Palp on a Firespray!!!!

It would be a somewhat maneuverable palpmobile with a rear arc + 1 ace and probably enough for an Academy if you were light on the firespray upgrades.

Is it worth the loss of a 2nd ace to get a palpmobile that does more than just palp? Doubt it, since decimators arent used this way and they got a turret lol.

Personally, when imagining new stuff for existing ships, I try to think out of the box, instead of just giving them slots for equipment they don't have yet.

Giving the Firespray a system slot could well make them extremely hard to beat.

Talking about out of the box, how about this for a Decimator title:

You may equip Huge Ship only crew.

nah, autoblaster is the king of fly-spanking. 3-4 hp flies hate it, that's why it's so awesome. it's really NOT that dumb-easy to dodge arc while at range 2-03 and not 1.

Firespray might have needed a 4-primary in front arc and 3 in back arc.

I want to slap ARC title on it. really o_o

The right tool for the job, yeah? Although adding a small sideboard to X-Wing might be more trouble than it's worth. Still, fun to customize your ship in response to your opponent during each match. /shrug

Oicunn with Chirenau crew instead of Daredevil as the double ram option? Heck, you could go Oicunn + Daredevil, Chirenau, Experimental Interface, Dauntless for potential triple ram.

Anyway - back to the Firespray. First of all what it needs is better pilots abilities for the Empire. Tail Gunner won't hurt.

I think I would personally limit it to the same upgrade type.

Something like:

At the start of the first round, discard an upgrade [missile/torpedo/crew] card to equip an upgrade card of the same type and equal or lower cost.
