=THE NEXT ARMADA EVENT ON VASSAL= ROUND THREE... FIGHT!!!
Neb will double check the math, but if my math is right Neb beats Daht 342-222 playing most wanted for a 7-3.
Math is correct, thx Daht for reporting! Was a pleasure playing you, and thx for showing up after so many hours of sleep deprivation caused by IA
I had initiative and took first player. Of the 8 ships on the board, 6 didnt survive. There are things that are not meant to be parked right in front of an ISD.
I felt a bit bad at the end, I know I was getting cranky but it was all I could do to stay awake at all
Good game. I gambled you wouldn't take the ISD down (usually put obj on demolisher), and deployed center instead of side, but good flying. Funny we had the exact same kill score it was the 120 bonus that was the entire diference in the score.

A great and entertaining game between me and Miferr, even though it lasted more than 6 hours!
We played fire lanes, and Miferr was first player. Basically the game revolved around gaining control of the fire lanes tokens, which in the end proved to be the real point mine for my slow but tough VSDs.
All in all a great game tense until the very last shot. A special mention for Miferr who proved to be a great sport and a great opponent, looking forward to our next game (just I'm thinking maybe next time I'll play a squadronless 3xISD fleet lol).
Lord Preyer vs Gowtah / 9-1 for gowtah / 403 - 180 for a 223 mov. / LordPreyer chose 1p and Superior positions (other choices were Precision strike and Hyperspace assault).
We finally got around to finishing that game.
Very pleasant opponent, good game and a nailbiting ending. Dice felt very extreme the whole game, either whiffing hard or nearing perfect rolls.
Will post the log to the right thread.

I've posted the game in the vlog thread.
My fleet had a few fun tricks (Isard, Interdictor+G8+Overload Pulse & Avenger, Suppressor+Slicer Tools) but it wasn't enough to overcome the wall of VSD/Rhymer/Bombers sitting on fire lanes tokens. Miedomeda did a great job of staying behind them and not overlapping them or going past them. I helped him with G8 because I was trying to keep my Interdictor alive as long as possible. Interdictor with repair commands is tough, but it wasn't tough enough. Then the Gozantis fell, but I was able to take out a VSD, a Gozanti, and a bunch of squads.
I feel like my biggest mistake was right at the beginning...I either needed to pick 2nd player to use my objectives, or pick superior positions, since he so badly out-deployed me anyway! He only had to place one ship before I placed the rest of mine.
Great game, and thanks to Miedomeda for hanging in there and being a fun opponent!
Lord Dorn Vs Vipcard3 has finished with a final score of 108 - 360 for a MOV of 252 to Vipcard3, while fighting over a contested outpost
early in the game I set up to deal with his heavy squads asap with my squads. Dorn setup to take the station very early and that is what happened. both of the Lord's VSD's powered into the station, and proceded to hold it for the first 3 rounds. however while this was happening, I proceded to take my entire fleet round to the left to flank the station. Dorn's Demolisher was dispatched to deal with the insurrectionists, however, the crew of the demolisher were caught by surprise and were crippled by the end of round 2, but in the process crippled one corvette. demolisher limped into round 3 however was dispatched with my first active in round 3. from here the VSDs were in trouble as they now had 3 corvettes and a Mon Karren MC80 attacking from their rears. In the last 3 rounds Grand Moff Tarkin was very unlucky to not have brought at least one of my corvettes with hime, however 2 corvettes escaped with only one hull remaining and Tarkin's flagship fell to the rebels. I proceded to press the attack and take the station for the last 3 rounds.
Lord Dorn played very well in the face of absolutely horrible dice rolls, and was very unlucky not to take more of my fleet. he's a great player, enjoyed every minute of it. cheers for the game
Edited by Vipcard3Onca vs Dorrin was scheduled but I messed up and forgot about it and ended up playing a practice game for another tournament I had and that was the only day that ended up working out for the both of us...So win goes to Onca 8-2 129 MOV. Sorry Onca.
Sanguinary Dan vs CaptainICT is the last match to be played for the round. How we lookin', gents? ![]()
If everyone else could please double-check the scores posted on the OP of this thread, I'd be grateful. No need to say if they're right, just let me know if I've made a mistake. ![]()
I've had a few players advise that they won't be able to play in the final round, and this is fine. Just FYI, if we end up with an odd number of players, I'm going to drop out so everyone gets a game. If you're in doubt for round four, please let me know before the end of this round so I can ensure all games have a solid chance of getting played.
Thanks guys! ![]()

I'm on vassal, I was a few minutes after 8, but I haven't seen him on Vassal.
I thought I saw him on the forums and have sent a pair of messages, hopefully it happens shortly.

I am willing to play on another day this week, if we can find a time ![]()
