Took a look at previous waves and the previews started coming out 3-4 months before release. Will we see wave 9 before Worlds?
What's the skinny on the Heroes pack and it's release?

We don't know
So far, honestly, nothing's been revealed that'll upset torpscouts. Ray and new Poe are no differentv
Heroes might have things to change this (new crew! New astro!) But we can only hope
Poor ARC just gets rocked like all other rebels low agi low mitigation and high health ships do
The SF doesn't offer anything to supplant Tue fighter jousters or palpatine aces
It offers new assets, such as Vi FCs backdraft abusing his aux arc and your skills to stay alive, but he doesn't have inqy's borked cost efficiency so I doubt he'll make worlds. (He does seem fun though)
"Baffled Rage" QuickDraw can work v both aces (fire during activation) and jumpmasters (fire during activation AND combat; cluster missiles but better against relatively low agility) but she requires a fair bit of skill to wield because she's squishy (more so because she also helps your opponent kill herself)
Edited by ficklegreendicewe literally know like 20% of whats coming. No idea who the other Falcon pilots (or T70) are, no idea about any crew/astro in hotr, scum ships are still mostly unveiled, and the ARC's dial/torp upgrade is unknown.
In fact we basically dont know a **** thing about HOTR. Theres a nifty title in there for T70 and Rey pilots the Falcon. Thats about it that actually means anything.
As of right now the ARC isnt worthless but its definitely not competitive powerhouse. Something in HOTR or the Torp might change that idea though.
TIE/SF is better than the ARC but still isnt a powerhouse. I suspect to see a singular Quickdraw or Backdraft purely because they can pull some "gotcha" tricks pretty easily, other than that theyre just a good ship but not amazing.
The torp won't help v scouts
Eagle eyed forum items basically decoded it as (paraphrased)
ACTION:
discard this card
Pick a ship in your PRIMARY firing arc at range 1-2/3
Every ship at Range 1 of that target takes an Anti pursuit laser roll
Could be half (only works 50% of the time) decent v crackswarm and aces but not 9 health jumps
Need crew or astro to deal with ordnance or deadeye/over clocked (don't need garbage like r3)
Yeah i saw that idea and it both looks sound to me and i actually like the idea long as it isnt more than 2pts. Slap 1-2 of those in your list on those normally empty torp slots and now you got a pretty decent anti-swarm for cheap.
Which tbh i wouldnt mind something nerfing a swarm. Much as i love running 8 tie's its just too strong when flown right lol. Only losses ive had were against people that actually had seismics floating around, forcing me to break formation or take tons of damage.
Remember the FFG transport needs to go around the world 3 times before they show up, its only been 1 at this point so I don't think they will show up until Last week Nov first Week Dec.
eh since they revealed wave9 with actual boxed ships im kinda believing we'll see them on time-ish. That indicates they already have them and are just waiting on distribution.

1 point; might even be worth 0 (except in the case of BBBBZ, because oh boy that's 2 torps and a Collision detector you'd have to buy for every B
)
unlike seismic charges, the torps could do jack **** and then you'd probably discard them for literally 0 gain
it'd be like pre-fix ordnance (Esp because you can't chip them, since they don't look like they'll be an actual attack but more like anti-pursuit or proximity mines), only even worse
Edited by ficklegreendiceWorld is a premium event, so it means that an expansion needs to be officially released for 11 days for it to be legal. That leaves around 3 months and those products are not even on the boat yet. It's not impossible, but my 8-Ball applications said "think again".
