He kind of is. The Outrider with Dash was in ANH special edition. Though we just saw the YT-2400 starting from Mos Eisley, but GL stated that this indeed was the Outrider, because he loved Shadows of the Empire.

The Outrider is the ship of Dash Rendar. George was very specific that this is not a generic YT-2400, but the outrider. Though it would be indeed cool to have Dash in Rebels.

But seriously, I absolutely love the TIE Defender. Flying around at high speeds, k-turning constantly, and getting focus and evade token each round suit my playing style. I just wish I had a gunboat or missile boat to fly with 2 TIE Defenders. Until then, I'll just have to fly my 3 TIE Defenders together.

As what feels like the only Rebel player at the FLGS due to an over saturation of Palp Ace lists, even if it's just in Epic play, having a combination trollboat and fire ship has resulted in this being the most hated ship to take the field, even after Blount persuaded all the Fels here to not bring stealth device.
Favourite ship? Hmm.
Since the days of the X-Wing game on PC till Autumn 2015, the B-Wing. I have always liked sturdy, reliable ships that have an extravagant look, outstand next to others, and have a good punch.
From Autumn 2015 and on, the K-Wing. For the same reasons.
The TIE Punisher/Interdictor is the ship that got me to start the game, but my two favorite ships are still the TIE Bomber and Chir'daki Deathseed Twilek fighter. My most cherished memory is point blanking a dumblocked Proton Bomb at someone's B-wing who was dumb enough to try boarding our ship on one of the awful handheld Battlefronts. I nearly killed myself in the process.
X Wing for the pilots, but Y Wing for the chassis, and that's what matters, so if I'm picking only one, it's the big, beautiful beast herself, the Y Wing.
Love T-65s though.

It was the A-Wing, but I played a triple TIE bomber list using proxies yesterday (only have one bomber myself), so yeah, maybe the A-Wing will be unseated.
My top three.
1. G1-A (I'm weird i know)
2. HWK 290
3. TIE Defender (a recent addition cause i LOVE bull rushing X7 juking Glaives down someone's throat.)
Fav pilots out of the bunch.
G1-A: Zuckuss. Cause 4 dice with dengar rerolls is amazing.
HWK 290: Palob Godalhi (slightly over Mux)
TIE Defender: Honestly i don't use any of the named guys. I loves my Glaives. Good middling PS and like to rush up to someone and say 'how ya doin'?'. Plus the k turn. Did i mention that?
