N'Dru Suhlak 8 damage

By Cununculus, in X-Wing

That Dengaroo is a tad more expensive than Andrew Suhlak.

I'm genuinely surprised whenever I hear anyone complain about ~60 point ships being too expensive considering the game has been dominated by them for half its lifespan now.

He said absolutely nothing about 60+ points being too expensive; it was an observation that, since one ship costs over 2x as much as the other, there's little point in trying to make a comparison.

Once Ndru has spent his ordnance, you may as well just fly his useless ass off the board. A Z-95 with usually 3 attack dice? No chance of hitting anything and no survivability.

So the ordnance strike from my Dengaroo actually costs me less points than a Ndru with an alpha strike loadout would.

I think I might try the ndru with cluster, chips, stims, and VI loadout in a Scum build I'm working on for after wave 9 hits.

Yeah, he fits quite neatly into a couple of Scum builds IIRC you can do him with Fenn and a stripped down Manaroo which has some major punch.

if only you could an an extra munition

N´Dru might be a one-hitter before turning in a nice PS7 ship with lone wolf and 3 attack.

The point is therefore to shoot the missile early and at something (preferably) more expensive than N´Dru.

But basically anything is more expansive than the 4 point missile and 2 points of glitterstim you fire away.

Make the shot count.

That way you give your opponent an early setback.

It doesn´t really matter if your opponent is some super-combo awaiting you, pick a juicy target and destroy it.

Ndru, Cluster Missiles, Glitterstim, LW and GC. Got 8 hits into a Falcon 2 games in a row (couldn't evade as Palob was there). Best 25p ever spent.

I disagree. You're spending 20+ on a one use Z-95 that could possibly be PS sniped. With my APT Dengaroo variant, you only pay 9 points for a more powerful and reliable alpha strike on an already solid list.

Should I put 'all this is irrelevant because only the meta should be discussed' in my signature to save time?
