I have made a little script which sends me an e-mail whenever a product on this page changes its status (actually 10 am GMT+1 a list of all products that changed, if any).
If there is enough interest I could build a little page with an input field, so you could add your address to that list

If it doesn't appear today maybe. I guess my search term would have to be Warrior Sourcebook.
I don't think you'll have time if it appears today.

Oh. Oh my.
How long have you been getting those? Please tell me since at least early 2015. If you have, might I request chips of the older emails so I can find the dates the books from before I came here changed status?
I have to disappoint you, the first eMail was sent on 27th of September..

Call me interested, How would this work with a product I don't know the full name of yet though?
Look at the example above. Basically it saves the status of every product from the ffg upcoming page and then checks every morning at 10 am gmt+1 if any status has changed. You then get an email with all product names (for example "TIE fighter expansion) and the collection name (in this case "X-Wing" ) and the status it had before and the new status

So, while really cool, not precisely what Shlam is looking for, I'd imagine.
From what he's said, it sounds like Shlam wants something where, if the Warrior Book is announced at 3:43 p.m. (American Central time
), he gets an e-mail no later than 3:44 p.m. (American Central time) telling him it was announced.
A once-daily e-mail that trolls the Upcoming page isn't gonna be able to do that. Especially because new products don't always show up on the Upcoming page until two or three days after they're announced.
I'm sorry, Shlam
. Maybe next week? Hopefully next week...

I'm thinking that it really is gonna a be a low year for announced books, I just have that feeling. It would be totally consistent with my luck for there to be less announcements this year. But if you think there is a chance I'll keep refreshing.

Hang on - they're doing a Starwing for X-Wing?!? Man, I LOVED the smeg out of that ship when I played TIE fighter. Must buy at once!!!

And I bought one Saturday to satisfy my GM’s “spend $10 in the store and get a free reroll and personal Destiny point” offer.

So your GM bribes their players? Good show
!
Also, side note: I finally remembered to update the first post with the current predictions. Hope it helps!

Yep. Spend $5 at the store where we play and get a free reroll. Spend $10 and get the reroll and a personal Destiny point. The personal Destiny point can be stacked with the group pool (so, for example, two upgrades to a roll), but can also stack against you when it’s flipped to dark.

Wow, bribes have gone up! Beer and Pizza Rolls were often the usual offerings back in the day.
@Absol197 I’m sure this is somewhere above but my search Fu is failing me
what the average and longest we have between product announcement and first article?
not that I’m getting twitchy or anything...
Hmm, not something I've tracked directly. But the longest since they've started the three-article method (as far as I can tell) is 76 days, for Dawn of Rebellion . The other recent books were Fully Operational at 61 days, and Cyphers and Masks at 73 days.
Currently, Unlimited Power (!!!) is at 81.
...
Of course this happens with my favorite book. It's not too far off, not even a week over the wait that Dawn had, but still. Frustrating, no?
I'll go back and review the News page and see if I can get more definitive data. I'll try to do it today, but you know...gotta do actual work sometime
!
Okay! I went back and reviewed, and the three-article standard began with No Disintegrations . The quickest first article was for Disciples of Harmony at only 40 days, and the mean so far is ~64.33 days.
However, I will note that I believe ND was my friend's first book that he wrote the articles for, and he has done pretty much all of them since then. And since he has told me that he's not the writer for the Unlimited Power articles, that may mean that we won't be getting the standard three, and the timing could be very difficult to judge.
Food for thought.
Hmm, another interesting trend has appeared!
The first preview for both No Disintegrations and Ghosts of Dathomir were on a Tuesday. The first previews for Disciples of Harmony and Fully Operational were on a Wednesday. And for Cyphers and Dawn , the first articles were on a Monday.
However, the final preview for FO, and every article for both CaM and DoR were released on a Monday. In fact, no preview article since May (when the first two Fully Operational previews were released) has been on a day other than a Monday.
This means that, if this trend continues, the
Unlimited Power
article that we're so desperately waiting for is likely going to be released on a Monday, which also means we've already missed our chance for an article this week

I hate Mondays.
so at this point its pretty well a given that we are not seeing any of the books before the new year right?
14 minutes ago, zsavk said:so at this point its pretty well a given that we are not seeing any of the books before the new year right?
Mostly, but we have a slight chance. The vast majority of books are announced between the 1st and the 16th of the month, and of the previous 6 books, five were announced on Fridays. Since this Friday is the 15th, we could see another book announced on Friday.
However, if we don't, we're almost guaranteed to be waiting until 2018 to get a new announcement
