I'm sorry my prophet, I just want that book.

Oh, so prophets don't get nice things? I see how it is, Shlam! I see how it is :P !

You get my appreciation for tracking all these numbers oh great prophetess.

I'd been keeping my fingers crossed for Mystic to come out first for Absol's sake; but now that everything has gotten so slowed down, I'm worried that my little sister might not have her Warrior book in time for our next rotation. :(

Don't think that way then we will never get the book. I think the last time we had a jam like this it sped up considerably. @Absol197 Do you have the data on that?

Yeah, that was after the dock worker's strike in late 2015, which is when I first came to this wonderful game!

Let's see...at one point there, we had five books upcoming at once: Strongholds of Resistance (which is this delay's version of Ghosts ), Chronicles of the Gatekeeper, Mask of the Pirate Queen, Keeping the Peace, and Nexus of Power. Then, once Nexus was announced, three books were released the same month ( Chronicles on 11/05, Strongholds on 11/12, and Mask on 11/19). Keeping the Peace was released the following month, on 12/17.

However, there's a big difference between the two so far: in the previous instance, the different upcoming products were still moving through the various stages of production, albeit much slower than is typical. In this instance, other than Ghosts finally starting shipping, all the other products are still piled up In Development . Now, it's likely that we'll see something similar...eventually, with three or four products coming out within a month or so of each other, but it's not happening soon, unfortunately :( .

I'm sorry.? I was just teasing ya?. Ment nothing by it.?

Originally I considered? saying 4 of 4 just for you but I didn't want to get your hopes? up and thought that might not be realistic.?

Ah... don't you mean undying devotion and sung praises?

Well, today is, finally, the official release date for Ghosts of Dathomir ! Woo!! *bangs drums, blows trumpets*

For an update, Ghosts is officially the record-holder for the longest time in each stage of production. Once the books currently In Development move on one of them will be the new record-holder for that stage, but as far as books that have completed each stage, Ghosts is on top (bottom?) of every category.

It also has the honor of beating out Strongholds of Resistance as the longest total time between announcement and release, the first book to crack an entire year, 370 days!

That isn't a record it should be proud of. Hang your head in shame, Ghosts of Dathomir!

If you go to the EoE Products page, you'll see that 'No Disintegrations' has a release date of '1st January 3000', which I think will set a new record!

Even with the less-than-stellar record of the FailBoat, that seems a tad long to be 'on the boat'.

See you all back here in 983 years!

That's the perks of being a playtester I guess! :)

;)

Order my copy of “Ghosts” from Miniature Market - much better deal than whoever was offering on Amazon.

Should have my copy tonight! But while I was at my game store begging for books last night, I picked up the new expansion for Mysterium! Just in time for Halloween!

...Now to figure out how to bolt on a fourth guessing round into the game...

Interesting how the Upcoming page hasn't updated for this week yet. My stupidly hopeful side thinks it's because they're verifying that they can change the status on some of the new books first, but they probably just forgot to push the button.

There's nothing stupid about your hope. Rebellions are built on hope!

Again!? Who will rid us of this turbulent button!?

Hey, don't knock buttons!

I still get a childish thrill when I push an elevator button.

hiho thanks for the numbers absol,

one question: is the order of products in ur first post the release order? or, asked more specific, is there a list when which ffg-sw book came out (without specialisation decks and reprints)

the reason i ask is because in germany they told us they will release the translated versions in the same order like the us versions... and because i always buy some of the books when i am in the usa, i would rather buy the ones not coming out here... for the next two years. That is actually no joke, they are so slow... they announced DC for decembre :( and the quality of the just released F&D core rulebook and Jewel of Yavin is... mediocre

Well, the product code order is generally the same as the order in which books were released, but it's not exactly the same. Here's the order of books that they were released in the US, along with the original release dates:

07/05/2013 - Edge of the Empire Core Rulebook

09/06/2013 - Beyond the Rim

12/06/2013 - Enter the Unknown

01/24/2014 - Suns of Fortune

02/28/2014 - Dangerous Covenants

03/31/2014 - The Jewel of Yavin

07/03/2014 - Age of Rebellion Core Rulebook

08/14/2014 - Far Horizons , Onslaught at Arda I

12/23/2014 - Stay on Target

02/05/2015 - Lords of Nal Hutta

02/23/2015 - Fly Casual

06/18/2015 - Desperate Allies

07/30/2015 - Force and Destiny Core Rulebook

11/05/2015 - Chronicles of the Gatekeeper

11/12/2015 - Strongholds of Resistance

11/19/2015 - Mask of the Pirate Queen

12/17/2015 - Keeping the Peace

02/04/2016 - Lead by Example

03/17/2016 - Nexus of Power

03/24/2016 - Special Modifications

06/02/2016 - Savage Spirits

08/18/2016 - Forged in Battle

10/20/2016 - Endless Vigil

12/08/2016 - Friends Like These

02/02/2017 - No Disintegrations

06/01/2017 - Disciples of Harmony

10/19/2017 - Ghosts of Dathomir

So, because it now involves the Mystic book (MYSTIC BOOK!!! Arrglblarglebl sfji ofpo gdjo figs l... ), I've done a quick review of the news article patterns from the recent books, as they seem to have settled on a fairly steady pattern, to see when we might be expecting to see another new news article (because, let's face it, we're probably not going to see any ACTUAL movement of the books for a while still...). Here's the results:

Full Operational:

Announced - 03/03/2017

Article 1 - 05/03/2017 (61 days)

Article 2 - 05/17/2017 (14 days)

Article 3 - 06/19/2017 (33 days)

Cyphers and Masks:

Announced - 07/07/2017

Article 1 - 09/18/2017 (73 days)

Article 2 - 10/02/2017 (14 days)

Article 3 - 10/16/2017 (14 days)

Dawn of Rebellion:

Announced - 07/11/2017

Article 1 - 09/25/2017 (76 days)

Article 2 - 10/09/2017 (14 days)

Article 3 - UNRELEASED

Unlimited Power:

Announced - 09/22/2017

Article 1 - UNRELEASED

The easy thing to notice is that we've gone between 61 days to 76 days (mean time 70 days), or roughly a month and a half, between announcement and the first article, then exactly two weeks (14 days) between the first and second articles.

Going from the second to the third is either 33 days from FO, or just another two weeks for CaM. Regardless, it's typically a little shorter than Announcement to Article 1, but probably not as short as from Article 1 to Article 2.

We're actually at 14 days from Article 2 for Dawn of Rebellion right now, so we can probably expect that article to release this week or next week. We'll probably have to wait until early December before we get our first look inside Unlimited Power, though :( .

EDIT: And immediately after posting this, all the power goes off in my building. The backup generators aren't even working!

...I think FFG is on to me, guys...

Can you super impose this with the changes to the upcoming? Maybe there is a relationship...

Sure can!

Fully Operational : No Upcoming changes;

Cyphers and Masks : No Upcoming changes;

Dawn of Rebellion : No Upcoming changes;

Unlimited Power : No Upcoming changes.

Nothing's changed the entire time :P .

If you mean when products in general change, there's usually a mass update of products every week on Wednesday and/or Thursday (although there wasn't one last week). But since it's a regular occurrence, there's little to be gleaned from that.
