Probably not? I only moved ~1.5 miles away, so unless you live in Denver, our relative distance is essentially unchanged :) .

Well crud, I lived in Denver for 30 years and we were always looking for new players. I had no idea you were in the neighborhood. I still game with and know a number of folks there if you're ever looking to get into a game.

You know, it's funny. Everyone I see on these forums, I always think "Oh, those people live on the Internet, the remotest parts of the globe to me possible..."

However...

I find myself living on the west side of the Denver metroplex!

@themensch and @Absol197 , if you know of any Denver area games that would like a player, please PM me. Fair warning: I'm pretty much completely new to RPGing in general, have never played as a PC, and only GM'd a handful of sessions for friends and family. I'm almost embarrassed by the amount of time I've spent on these books vs. time spent playing.

That being said, I'm fairly easygoing and willing to try any role that the party doesn't have filled.

Even if it's just to listen in and see how the game runs, I'd rather show up with any kind of a "be expecting this person" than randomly show up at a game posted online. THAT just seems awkward...

I now return you to your regularly scheduled statistics analysis, that is, assuming that FFG gives us some updates soon? (crosses fingers!!!)

Wow, I've been running an EotE campaign in Denver off and on for year (after taking some time off for the birth of my daughter). Small world!

I'm in Texas as well, up here in Dallas. The unfortunate truth about Texas though is that from Dallas (NE part of the state) to Austin (Middle) where Daeglin is 195 miles (a 3 hour drive), and from Austin where he is to Houston (SE) where the flooding is would be ANOTHER 165 miles ....

Texas is big, and mostly empty.... but really big.

That just means we totally need to arrange to game together... as it is actually doable :)

I'm not that far south, relatively speaking. Have a fairly solid group going in Pueblo.

And so very flat. I drove Route 66 through the sticky-uppy bit of Texas, and man - miles and miles of nothing but plains. But the second I crossed the New Mexico border - BAM! Hills and mesas and rocks and stuff.

A couple of years ago, we drove from here in Dallas (hi, Kyla) to Vegas. About 1/3 to 1/2 of our drive was in Texas.

Which las vegas are you talking about, the famous one in Nevada or the tiny one in new mexico?

Nevada. Wife had a conference for her side gig at the time, and I've got family there.

Wow, thanks to all the people who said they'd like to game with me! It means a lot :) .

Unfortunately, the past month and a half has been pure chaos for me (which, as you can imagine, I don't deal with well), and both the PbP I'm involved with here and my own IRL game have fallen to the wayside as I work to stabilize myself. And my IRL game already has a pick-up member that we've been trying to work in for the past two months who just never seems to be able to sync schedules. So for the short term, I unfortunately can't join or start any new games at the moment.

Once I get the chance to settle down, catch up on my previous Obligations (Addiction: Numbers 15, Family: Widowed Mother 20, and Oath: Games for the Game God 20, in case you were interested. My Obligation gets rolled a lot...), then we can definitely talk :) .

What? It is not gaming 80. Real life 10?

So...could this be for real?

Probably the info distributors got from FFG. Whether it's true I'm sure depends on all the usual shipping issues....

I'm not seeing a date on any of the usual online retailers I haunt Hopefully this is the good news we've been waiting for, only a year since announced.

I'm disinclined to believe it without a status update from the FFG crew itself.

For now I'll file it under "Possibly."

Eh, my experience with Amazon and release dates (at least with movies) is that you might as well pick numbers out of a hat. You'll probably be as right as they are.

I wouldn't put any stock in this announcement.

Well, one thing we might be able to put stock in is the new News article for Cyphers and Masks ! Not only does it give you folks a sneak preview, it gives us an estimated release date: Q4 2017.

While I'll be the first to admit that the release predictions in the news articles are notoriously spotty, I would point out that after such a major delay, I seriously doubt FFG would put something like that in one of their articles if they didn't feel they had a very good chance of meeting it. We might finally be seeing some movement!

And incidentally, the broken links to the Cypers and Masks & Dawn of Rebellion pages have been fixed!

"Not eligible for Amazon Prime" means it's an Amazon Marketplace item, so it's actually being sold by someone else. I think they can enter whatever info they want on their listing, so that could be anything from "their in-law that works for FFG gave them that date" to "completely made up" (or even both).

Looks like they finally found a new boat.

I see a couple of reprint products have finally shifted to on the boat and a couple have updated to at the printer including the genesys dice.

None of the new star wars stuff has updated but at least there's movement and it looks like whatever shipping issues they were having are starting to finally get worked out.

Hopefully we'll see some new star wars product soon.

It would be nice to see ghosts for halloween

Lets go to the west of the Rockies phone line. Hello caller, you're on the air with Art Bell . . .

Now that's someone who's heard the show!

And who knew Phil Hendrie would become the model for modern politics?
