Sure, and if you flip a destiny point you can use Vigilance ;)

Yes! (flips)

Wait - you can use destiny points for initiative? Really?

Sure, any Skill check.

I guess now that I think about it, it's a no-brainer. For some reason I always thought that was cheating. Consider me dumb!

(But then it only took me 3 years to realize I was doing minions wrong, too. :) )

Yup, lotsa assumptions and things we all don't consider in this game.

Just buy Constant Vigilance with Xp and you can ignore the cool check and make it Vigilance. Saves you Destiny points ;)

You have to learn it from this master, or it doesn't count. :P

So I see via another thread on the FaD board that we may have solved the mystery of the MIA Ghosts of Dathomir. However, I'm still kind of curious as to what the delay is with Fully Operational which has been in a similar type of limbo for almost as long. While I can understand a cargo container issue creating the excessive Ghosts delay, I can't see it affecting F.O. especially since other books (albeit all reprints) have gone to the printer since then.

I'm of the mind that there is either some heavy rewrites or issues with writers block that have forced it to be delayed.

I bet it was Bothans.

This brings new meaning to the quote "Many Bothans died to bring us these plans."

I had a conversation with my FLGS today about this whole shipping situation, and they seemed to think it was that one shipping company that went bottom's up. The owner knew of other people who lost a lot of product due to that. I'd say this mystery of the diverted ship lies with them.

That makes way too much sense. It has to be the Illuminati....just ask Steve Jackson about the time they sicked the FBI on them....
And as I recall a lot of ships for that shipping company were mid shipment when they suddenly went belly up and all the ships technically belong to the creditors till it is sorted....Which means I suspect after a significant amount of time all those shipments will be delivered...Just months or years late...

Sorry for my extended absence, folks. I was moving and it capitalized all of my time. For the past three-ish weeks, my schedule has been little more than work, move, sleep.

But, now that the old place is sold and I'm down to unpacking, I hope to be around more often again! Thankfully (or perhaps unfortunately), it appears I didn't miss anything I needed to track and/or calculate.

It's good to be back!

Yes... but are you closer so we can game together? lol

Probably not? I only moved ~1.5 miles away, so unless you live in Denver, our relative distance is essentially unchanged :) .

Well technically I am closer now... cause I moved a couple thousand miles east to Texas...

I've been to austin for a conference and a job interview about a decade ago, but having forgotten the little bit of Texas geography i once knew, how much rain have you gotten in the last few days?

I am guessing 12 inches or so. I am about 200 miles from the coast

That's about what I was guessing. I will pray that you don't loose power Internet or suffer other I'll effects.

Stay as safe and dry as you can.

Haven't been down to Austin in years, but we need to make a road trip down to see some friends in the near future.
