Given the current story arc in Rebels, I think that they may have been delaying to not ruin it. I would expect it to go to printing soon. Now, if they can avoid the Chinese New year and the annual California Longshoreman strike that is another question.
Trends, Statistics, and Predictions!
Not to stir the pot, but a friend with access to a dealer account (who can no longer directly order the books because he has no brick and mortar location for his online business) said over the weekend that distributor information lists a release date of...well...tomorrow for No Disintegrations. While I'm not holding my breath, I did alert my comic store, so they can let me know if it does show up.
Edited by NytwyngIf they do that to me, I will have no words! None at all!
Of course, I very much doubt it, for various reasons, but we'll see, won't we

Oh, I doubt it, too.
I wouldn't complain if it happens, mind you.
But I'm glad he told me so I (and the store) can be prepared, just in case.
Absol, what does the math say about an article this month? I know we have lesser chance due to already getting one a few weeks ago and that they don't typically release news this late into the month, but I'm curious.
Also, if they did, do you think it would be on the upcoming FaD adventure or a new product announcement?
I feel like they're teasing No Disintegrations a bit more than normal, so I think we'll get another article on it before the release (come on, specs! Mama needs to know what the last one of you is!). As for a teaser of Ghosts, I doubt it. Teasers don't usually show up until a book is On the Boat - that's the middle point of the production cycle, and I'm sure they do it to keep hype going once they get to the doldrums.
I was thinking we might get a new Age announcement this month, but it's gotta be either today or tomorrow, so not looking good, alas
...
(come on, specs! Mama needs to know what the last one of you is!).
To you, this must be like having an itch you absolutely cannot scratch...
YES >_< !!! It ABSOLutely is! You have no idea how annoying it is...
They dropped a hint that it might be sharpshooter. BTW we could always Waterboard the pirate to find out what he knows
Hmmm. I think he's hiding. Probably on Dathomir.
He's a pirate Water isn't very effective,
Patience. Soon.
Torture will likely make me mad. You'll get way more out of me with Morena Baccarin and a bottle of whisky....

But then Ben McKenzie might want a word with us.
You get the woman and the whisky and I'll deal with her little brother....
A gadgeteer, martial artist, sharpshooter would be pretty potent, with 3 copies of deadly accuracy to put in brawl, ranged light, and ranged heavy/gunnery.
Even without sharpshooter, bounty hunter is shaping up to be the most potent/we rounded combat spec
operator is "probably" (as in my take from the hints they dropped, going as far back as the core rulebook where they said that bounty hunters can get by as pilots)1 going to be a cross between rigger and pilot, similar to modder in that it's a half rigger half something else, and it will likely pair well with gadgeteer.
Gadgeteer also looks like it's going to pair well with martial artist. I'm actually hoping (but not expecting) that martial artist will have a minor focus on thrown weapons (eg. Shuriken, throwing knives, basically just quick draw, and strong arm for talents), maybe (again hoping but not expecting) that a vibro kusarigama will make an appearance (basically a whip like weapon that can do lethal damage, with a low critical and pierce). I'm also hoping that the martial artist will have pressure point BUT NOT the medicine skill. Why, pressure point fits thematically as a take them alive thing that the martial artist would have and the ability to ignore soak is pretty potent even without the extra damage from ranks in medicine, and having the martial artist by ranks in medicine at an out of career price seems like a sufficient deterent/cost for this.
Assuming sharpshooter is the 6th spec it would pair well with gadgeteer. For example the spare clip talent.
Assassin also looks like it would pair well with martial artist.
And i'm thinking assassin would pair well with Sharpshooter (again assuming sharpshooter is the 6th spec).

You'll get more mileage out of Homeland. Season 1 at least. I haven't watched any subsequent seasons.

(Wondering if I should mention my autographed picture of the lovey Ms. Baccarin is almost directly above my monitor...)

I um...yeah, I've seen them all. So yeah, action picks up after season 1, but becomes increasingly implausible as it progresses. Still, it's better than most TV.
Ugh... Ghosts of Dathomir has now exceeded the current record for longest time In Development . It was Savage Spirits at 63 days, but now Ghosts had grown to 66 days and counting...
Also! We should hopefully see No Disintegrations go to Shipping Now either today or tomorrow. So yay for that, right!
Right guys? Guys...?
*crosses fingers and toes* I'm dubious about any updates ... not because of their being off timing wise, but because there is no one at work to post them to the website with the holidays ....

Part of me thinks this may just be due to the season. We had a holiday with one or two fewer work days a few weeks ago, and we're about to go into an extended holiday weekend, at a time when people often take time off. (I'll leave work Friday afternoon, and not be back in the office til Jan 3 here at my job, for instance.)
And that's assuming FFG doesn't do something like what a friend's employer does: closed with pay the final two weeks of the year.

They just posted a news item for it.
Hmm...while it's always nice to see new news posts, I'm not too entirely thrilled with this one. It doesn't give to much information that's new (Dathomir is dangerous! The Hutts, Nightsisters, and ISB are involved! There's ghosts, and a crazy lady with an Inquisitor's lightsaber! These are all things we already knew...), and we're still In Development . I know with adventures they have to be a little more cautious, but still. Something, even a tiny tidbit, that we didn't know would be nice.
We'll see what the future holds, I guess. Hopefully we'll head to the printer soon!
