Thoughts and likelihood of the Warrior book being called...

Aggressive Negotiations?

Sounds too much like a Consular book to me, Warrior doesn't at the moment lead itself to be a good party face. I think Warrior might be getting the most combat specs with one of them turning a Warrior into a Juggernaut. That's just my opinion though.

It's a quote from the movies, and has nothing to do with being a face.

Oh I know but I'm just saying what it sounds like. In proper context yeah it would have less to do with being a face but I'm also certain that Absol has statistics on how many book titles are direct quotes, and I believe those are in the minority. But who knows you might have hit the nail right on he head with the name there.

I think they try to use movie quotes when they can, where they can. It is a quote that leaves a bad taste, but it is a quote.

I know they've used OT quotes like "No Disintegrations" and "Stay on Target" but I'm not sure they've used a Prequel Title?

I think the odds of getting "Aggressive Negotiations" as a book title are a lot better than the odds of successfully navigating an asteroid field.

Actually, I consider that one of the better scenes in the prequels. GL let Christensen and Portman ad-lib the dialogue because even he couldn't stand what he had written for the scene. As a result, I thought it a.) felt a lot more natural, and b.) let Christensen actually demonstrate why he was nominated for a Golden Globe. Granted, it was immediately followed up by more cringe-worthy awkward scripting, but the line was good.

That said, I do think "Aggressive Negotiations" has a good chance of being a book name, though I'm split on whether it'll be for Warrior, Consular, or even an adventure.

Which is like 3720 to 1...divided by 11..... I'm pretty sure.....

Sorry for disappear-itizing! Life is a thing that happens, sometimes.

Hey. Hey hey hey. This is the fastest a book has gone from posted as In Dev to at the printer. Right? Like five days. We should be celebrating.

...You're mocking me, aren't you?</buzzlightyear>

I'm curious what Phee suspects what book will be announced next and when.

Hmm, good question! I'm almost positive it will be an Age book, but what is kind of hard to determine at this point. That's for a couple of reasons: they've started releasing books out of order more and more often, and the order of Age and Force books doesn't follow the established pattern, anyway.

I'm putting slightly higher odds on the next announced book being a career book (most likely the Engineer), but I actually think the next book in the official, product-code order will be the next region book. As for when...that's a bit harder. We've been lucky and gotten a new announcement every month for the past four months, and I don't think that'll last. Unfortunately I don't have my charts on my home computer, so I'll have to try and remember the figures, but I'm thinking we'll skip November and get our next book early December - I'm thinking Tuesday the 13th.

But let's hope I'm wrong, and we do get another announcement in November! Mystic book, Mystic book, Mystic book...

This is now the title that I want the most. And it fits the naming conventions, too, so bonus points!

I think that the Warrior book might be titled Let the Wookie Win. . .

I'm 95% certain it will have Wookie as a species and maybe also Lasat and Barabel.

It's not a bad phrase, but I don't think they'd stick it on a career book. It would place too much emphasis on the species and none on the actual career that was featured. I think this one is more of a shoe-in for a potential region sourcebook that includes Kashyyyk.

My title guess was a joke but I am quite certain we will see the Wookie in the Warrior book because there are a couple of Wookie Jedi in both canon and the EU and that Wookies in general are known as great Warriors.

Wars do not make one great

Wars do not make one great

but they sure do seem to be a good reason to make a statue of someone.

So I was looking at the edge product numbers and I think SWE15 will be a location book and 17 will be an adventure. As that is the pattern they were trying to follow with edge. But they found it too hard to actually stick too. :)

So: Wars can make you into an inanimate object?

Tell that to Alexander.

Carbonite, bro. Carbonite.

No Disintegrations is still At The Printer!

At least Friends Like These is On The Boat.

Does anyone have a idea of when we'll get a new announcement article?!?!

This was given not even a page ago :) .

However, for convenience, my current prediction is early December. Please note we've been very lucky and have gotten one announcement per month for the last four months. That pattern, while awesome, is unlikely to last.

I wouldn't mind at all of it did, it's just unlikely to :) .

It might also have stats for the helicopter Inquisitor lightsaber!
