Imperial small-base ship BESIDES a TIE?

Oh god the adv bomber is just a winged tumor

The TIE Torpedo Bomber looks cool.

I'm not sick of the TIE title, just the classic TIE look (TIE Fighter, Interceptor, Advance, SF, FO, etc...) TIE Defender looks different enough for to like it.

The only ones I'd buy from that picture are: Avenger, Hunter, Droid.

I think the most likely options are a tie between the XG-1 Starwing (missile boat) because it is so popular, and the V-Wing because it is cannon (I'm not sure if the fact that it should have a new imperial only astromech slot helps or hurts it).

There is also an outside chance we might get Vader in his black ACTIS-II interceptor because it is cannon and would look SOOO bad-ass, but the fact that Vader is the only believable pilot makes it difficult. I guess they could stretch things and put some more inquisitors in there, but definitely no generics.

TIE Lander looks like a bomber with a flippin BFG strapped to its belly lol

isnt the YE-4 rather large though?

Thrawn is canon so... Clawcraft?

Edit: with a tallon roll to reflect the weird maneuvers it can pull off :3

I know they're sticking with a theme, but I'd love to see a ship out two without the TIE designation.

I'm not a gunboat fanatic, but I'd certainly enjoy seeing it.

Other ships could include the Eta-2 (we did just get the ARC-170 after all), the v-wing and maybe the Imperial patrol transport (though I can't tell if it was actually vacuum-capable).

What other ships are there? Am I just crazy?

I'm with you 100%, although I'd be stuck for ideas past the Skipray Blastboat and the oft-lamented gunboat. OTOH, at one ship per wave, that 16 months worth of releases.

The only ones I'd buy from that picture are: Avenger, Hunter, Droid.

Me too.

But I hope they stop releasing TIEs for a while (meaning: Assault Gunboat and Missile Boat next).

The theme of imperials is the TIE, it's a standardize military that contracts all it's ships with one company.

If you are looking for variety, might I suggest the Scum faction?

May we suggest you don't let the door hit you on the way out.

TIE Avenger and Aggressor please!

Dude, did you read the title?

Sure I did, lol, so? :P

Really roleplaying the 'condescending ass' part of the Empire, I see.

Delta-class Stormtrooper Transport:

A heavily armored ship with plenty of crew slots, torpedoes, mines, and possibly an ion canon.

A more aggressive take on the Lambda-shuttle role, that introduces the Team upgrades for standard play, as well as being able to be used offensively, as a suporrt ship, or for area control/denial.

3/1/4/4. Focus, Target Lock, Reinforce.

Torpedo, Torpedo, Crew, Crew, Crew, Team

Title that allows it to equip one ion cannon and "one Action:" bomb, and deals 1 damage to enemy ships it is touching at the beginning of the combat phase.

CUV-1 Combat utility vehicle:

A disarmed ship whose task is to assist, refill, repair, and recover friendly pilots in the front lines.

It introduces regen to the Empire, giving a boost of survivability, at the cost of not bringing any weapons itself. It can be seen as a small-base answer to the rebel GR-75, able for standard play.

5(Energy)/2/3/3. Focus, Barrel Roll, Recover

Crew, Cargo.

Title: Allows it to perform a Recover action that affects one friendly ship at range 1 instead of itself. During the End phase, one friendly ship that is touching the CUV-1 may flip up one upgrade card, or discard one damage card.

Meh all we need are a few good transports and plenty of TIES and more large and huge ships... I'm good.

I dunno, FFG seems to like everything being tied together...

But seriously, did someone say Gunboat?

Shh. Don't say "gunboat" many times in a row outside of the XG-1 thread, or you could end up summoning the AntiGunboat Squad.

The Preybird Starfighter was originally designed and built for the Empire, although more often than not fell into the hands of Scum.

Check the "Looking for a fast ship?". Link in my sig for some possible options...

I warned against mentioning the gunboat in the other thread! Look what you did, now! The parade of gunboatphobic bigots goes again with their spiteful bile words, and their "Empire is only for those with balls (attached to panels)" signs.

Now seriously, I think the First Order has just got with the TIE/SF a ship that is a little like the Gunboat is supposed to be. Not great dial, not especially agile, average action bar, not cheap, not expensive.

Instead of two arcs, a cannon slot and a tittle that lets it double tap or something like that. Instead of tech, another missile or torpedo slot. The rest is pretty much nailed.
