Twin Laser Turret and Predator

By redviperofdorne, in X-Wing Rules Questions

Twin Laser Turret card FAQ reads "Twin Laser Turret is treated as two separate attacks against the same target." Predator card reads "When attacking, you may reroll 1 attack die."

I interpret these words to mean I can re-roll on both attacks.

Yes, you can.

Yes, Predator works on both attacks

Thanks

Are you sure about this? Considering the new flow chart and how gunner changed, predator may not trigger.

I've been wondering if there is an authority at FFG like a Rules Czar who makes the final decision on differences of rules interpretation? Who makes a decision at the big tournaments?

As far as Rules Czar, that would be one of the developers.

well, what do I do now where I have two members on this topic agreeing with me and you casting doubt on it? I'm playing in my first local tournament this weekend and I wanted to have this thread to show anyone who disagreed with my interpretation.

Gunner triggers after attacking, whereas Predator triggers when attacking. On the new flowchart, Gunner happens after both attacks from a TLT. Predator is a dice modification that happens during the "Attacker Modifies attack dice" steps.

What once was an easy game to learn and fun to play is starting to be a PITA bdfore the ships hit the table. It's still fun but a lot more confusing.

Once you get your head around the timing triggers, things become clearer. The keywords are still the same.

:)

In short, the timing chart changed things for "delcare target" and "after attacking" cards. "When attacking" is unchanged
