What do you guys think? Slicer proof Glads, plus an Interdictor and a Slicer/Tractor Beam flotilla to control the field so the Glads can do their work against other ships and also flotilla killers. (Ginkapo should be proud!)

Well, I wouldn't call them Slicer-Proof, but they're certainly Slicer-resistant... The trouble is, they're losing out on what they'd normally take...

BUT.

Huge fan of Glad-II + Sensor Teams.

The only trouble is, of course, you're lacking the Concentrate Fire command you want to be able ot throw Sensor Teams Willy-Nilly about But that's part of the resistance overall

Glad II is 1 red 3 black salvo. With sensor teams thats 1 accuracy plus 2 black. Now you require both blacks to be hit/crit to kill a flotilla outright and more if its bright hope.

Ergo unfortunately this is a foolhardy plan.

Skilled First Officers or Veteran Captains are a cheap way of mitigating Slicer Tools and still have their uses if the enemy don't actually take any slicer tools.
