...vs...

...you've got the same forward attack on the TIE/sf, with the ability to split its attack. Same agility. Same hull. Similar actions (TIE/sf adds a barrel roll), and the TIE/sf has one more shield. Same cost! The X-Wing does have a slight PS advantage, here, although the TIE/sf has a better dial (the hard-3 is a red maneuver vs white on the X-Wing, but the /sf gets a green forward-3 as well as the 3-sloops both directions and hard-1 turns...red, sure, but the X-Wing doesn't have them at all)
So the titled TIE/sf is flat-out better than the X-Wing in every way, at the same price. Integrated Astromech effectively gives the X-Wing enough of a buff to put it equal to the TIE/sf in damage resistance (it's basically a free shield, after all), although the TIE/sf retains the primary weapon advantage (aft arc/split fire), better dial, and better actions. Oh, and IA still only works if you pay for an astromech to pair with it!
Don't think we've before had quite so direct a comparison to the T-65 showing its current sad state. Looking at the above combos, you could basically give it an astromech that added the barrel roll action and s-loops and hard-1 turns...turning the hard-3s red and losing 1 PS in exchange...and price it at 0 points to merely be making the T-65 identical to the TIE/sf.
