Most impressive. Really want to do this with my set but need A) time and B) the paints and materials!
For future reference, what paint makes and colours did you use?
Did you do anything to permanently glue your Death Stars together? Mine come apart quite regularly, particularly the DSUC.
Where are these stands from and did you glue the ships to them, quite like the idea of have the space units on them, so they A take up less space in the region and B are over the planet/ground units
Looks awesome! Let us know what paints you used and where you got your stand supplies. I looked up a few options after seeing this but wants to see what you bought first.
Nice job. I have to say the Imperial fleets look a lot more impressive mounted up on stands. I would also like to know where you got the stands from along with some of the bases you used for the the tie fighters and at AT-ATs
Edited by BigdorkThey're just standard hex bases. Pretty much any retailer of miniatures that has a space or air line will have them.
Here in the UK, you can get them from Brigade models. http://www.brigademodels.co.uk/Accessories/Items/ACC-001.html
in the US, http://studiobergstrom.com/index.php?productID=164
A simple wash would go a long way also.
