And think of the people they killed on darth Star 1 and 2, tons more then the imp did. WHO ARE THE REAL bad guys, with only the movies being cannon, its the rebels by far, lead by the JEDI.

There was only 3 people on that planet we all know the millions is a lie that some JEDI told us.

Rebels has shown AT-ATs being deployed by Gozantis. I don't know whether this supersedes the old fluff or supplements it. No Gozantis seen during the Battle of Hoth so I lean towards supplement. It seems safe to assume that AT-ATs need some sort of carrier to get down to the surface, whether there is a standardized vehicle or a range of suitable craft seems to be undefined at the moment.

It's hard, because Rebels messed up so hard, we can hardly imagine.

How is it messed up? Nobody said that the A-wing and B-wing were brand new in ROTJ, and the A-wings and B-wing that we've seen in Rebels are very noticeably different from the ROTJ ones.

Mostly because discarding the EU in that way requires explanation.

If the Rebels in Sato's cell had been flying Clone-Wars-surplus Z-95s, Y-Wings, ARC-170s, V-19s, etc...then no explanation is needed. Surplus from the last major war - nobody asks questions why those are around.

A-Wings, though? Where did THOSE come from? We don't know - simply a new type of fighter appears being flown by a rag-tag group of terrorists that clearly are not well funded enough to have developed it, themselves, yet.

It leaves a gap, and an unnecessary one.

ANYWAY, that's getting a bit off topic, but it sort of points to the problem of the 'Rebels' team pulling in whatever looks cool without any regard to the potential background issues it would cause, complexity of explaining the difference, and impact on other stories. (I mean, TIE Interceptors appearing years before Yavin and not a single one used to protect the Death Star or chase down the Millennium Falcon? LOLwut??)

Uhm didn't we got one? Kuat deflector bringing data for the R-22 Spearhead. And btw, the R-22 was piloted by Jake Farel at the battle of Javin in the EU as well already. The one change they made was switching from Incom to Kuat which absolutely made sense in context of the prequels. And it is the same story for the X-Wings anyway. So what?

The Empire (and some players) seem to be very fashionably coordinated to the point of OCD. Hilarious. Bring on the yellow TIEs!

What good is an A-wing in a bombing run? It starts out as a small fighter which is later stripped down for speed.

I don't know...maybe the interceptor intercepting the TIE fighters that blew up all their bombers?

As mentioned, I did, too. It's the color I'm "used to" from the X-Wing/TIE Fighter games.

Still, had to get used to the blue, instead, as that's what FFG has mostly been putting out as a result of the ESB/RotJ repaints.

But that leaves you hanging a bit - want to fly a TIE Fighter with a TIE Phantom? "Fortunately" we've got blue and grey TIE Fighters, so you can do a list of blue fighters. TIE Advanced with a TIE Bomber? Have blue OR grey options on that one, both ways. TIE Striker with a TIE Defender? Sorry, buddy - gotta mix colors, now. GRRRRRRR.....
