Replace Australia with Anywhere.

Problem with TI is that it is an EPIC game and being EPIC means exactly that. You need players and a lot of time which means the only time to play this game is with prior planning. It is not like Magic or X-wing or even Rebellion where you just sit down and play a game in a couple of hours.

I know of one group (Seattle area) who schedules their games months in advanced . They have a game every 3 months and even have a trophy they pass around to the winner. But literally you have to find players and then plan for a game.

Which would be why he is looking for players in his area. What makes you think he didn't already know this?

Marinealvey Im well aware of the logistics, our game group currently has 5 regular players and we have played TI twice, but Im hoping to set up a regular game. possibly with a seperate group. Our current group likes to spread the games around (which I also do, but hey more TI is never a bad thing)!

I believe there should be a thread called "find your TI3 players here" or some such somewhere around these here parts. It might be that other Aussies have made themselves known there.

I organize a boardgaming meetup group in Brisbane, Australia.

We plan to play Twilight Imperium, Game of Thrones and Battlestar Galactica.
