Tweaking this imperial build

So the build wasn't bad but feels like it's got a few weaknesses and I'm trying to iron them out.

Echo: VI, Gunner, ACD, FCS

Col. Ves: VI, TIE/D, Ion Cannon, TIE MK II

Wampa: Targeting Computer

Total 98

Solid enough but has to be careful to keep Echo or Vess up early without focused down o. Too much

A list like this would probably be better served with a TIE/FO than Wampa. You get your target lock, a shield upgrade, and a better dial to block with. Wampa honestly isn't bringing much pain here.

The drop to an epsilon squad pilot opens up an extra point. From there you can swap up to whisper (not an upgrade perse, but definitely easier to fly). If you did bring whisper instead you would have a 1 point bid. I personally am not comfortable bidding less than 2 points when I'm flying a phantom so I would probably downgrade gunner to something like agent kallus. From there you could drop twin ion mk II from vess (it isn't required, really). If you did that you would have 5 points open. Add a 3 point mod like hull upgrade to vess, and that puts you at 98.

Adds 1 pilot skill to your phantom (also let's whisper pick out a problem ace to pick on), subtracts 3 ps from your blocker, adds 1 shield and 1 hull to the squad. Of course this is all just my opinion, maybe wampa has been more useful to you here than I think.

Edit: if you wanted you could not take hull upgrade on vess and instead take a tie advanced prototype with it's title over the FO. The FO has the cooler dial, but the action economy for target lock supporting vess is awesome for the TAP.
