Basically talk the talk represents knowledge that a pc has picked up somehow either from his criminal past or present. So imagine knowledge of a Nexu may have been picked up from a former associate owning one for use in pit fights instead of textbook knowledge of the creature as such it's a standard cunning -streetwise check.
