They're available now I'm pretty sure.

I would assume they mean through third part stores, I'm in the same boat as ffgs international shipping rate is appalling.
I can say they aren't up on nobleknight yet, and no site I have found has them yet.
I got them direct from the FFG website. The shipping was a bit higher than I hoped, but I got all 6 decks, and it brought it down a bit. Your FLGS should be able to get them now also.
As they are POD, the store either need to order directly through FFG or have their distributor do so. I did not realize this when I saw the original forum post(3 or 4 weeks ago now) and told my FLGS about it. They are set to arrive this coming Monday or Tuesday.
Make of that what you will.
I asked my FLGS to order them as soon as they showed up.
They still have not received my order.
So FFG seems to be responding slowly to orders from distributors -- which makes sense as direct orders make them more money and choking their distribution channels forces players to buy from them directly.
I ordered the new 3 decks last night. I already have the older 3 decks. The shipping for 3 decks was $7.99 fir USPS Priority Mail, which was the cheapest shipping available.
They are very worth it. With all 6 there's nearly no situation PCs can jerk the wheel and you can't catch up.
I've been tempted to make my own, honestly, because my NPCs tend to have a few more tricks up their sleeves. How, you ask? (Or even if you don't!) Well... export stat blocks from Oggdude's GM Tools, then do some Photoshop magic to create tarot-sized cards I can print at Game Crafter. Sure, 50 cards is going to cost me $10, but I've got my own personalized NPCs that way.

I am very interested in this. Any instructions on how to do all this? I didn't even know Oggdude's had NPC stats, let alone how to export them.

I, too, would be interested in a mini-tutorial or tips.
I put clear sleeves on them and then I can write on them with a dry erase marker to personalize them or add details and track things.

Also keep in mind that there are community efforts which take virtually all known NPCs from all published books, and create adversary cards from them. They’re not necessarily as nice looking as the ones from FFG, but they have all the data you need. You can print those out on cardstock on any laser or inkjet printer, and you’re basically done.

When running Oggdude's, instead of running the file called "SWCharGen", run "SWCharGenLauncher". This brings up a launcher screen that looks like this:
Click on the GM Tools button, which should give you a screen that looks like this:
Use New to create a new NPC and stat it out using all the features available through those panels. Once you've saved (Added or Updated) your NPC, go back to the GM Tools screen, highlight the character, and hit the Stat Block button. It should bring up a screen that looks like this:
Make sure to use the settings to create the image you want, then Save the file. Next, you'll want to go to The Game Crafter and download one of their card templates. I chose to use the Tarot card, since my NPCs tend to be a little beefier than the ones in the books. It looks like this:
Don't use this image, though. It's been resized for the web. Once you have this template in Photoshop, you can open up your saved stat block and paste it in, then find a good picture for your NPC. Also consider doing a short write-up, if you have space available on the front of the card. My NPC turned out like this:
If I were serious about doing these, I'd probably create my own stat blocks using Scribus rather than cutting a stat block image from Oggdudes, as it would allow for cleaner lines and crisper text.
Hope that helps.
Thanks so much, Simon. I appreciate the time you took to do that, and I really like your NPC!

Hmm. Now I think we know who’s going to be doing up the Adversary cards for RPG publications.

Thank you so much for this! Awesome guide!
I know it's been nearly a year since the last post in this thread, I apologize. Is TGC going to have a problem with someone sending them files to print with Star Wars IP images like Stormtroopers and the like? Has anyone used them to print a set of cards, and was there any resistance to doing so on their part?
