Alright Nerds Give me the precentage on ATC.

By Cubanboy, in X-Wing

So i was thinking about this and I wanted to know on the TIE Advance what is the percentage for using ATC to get 2 hits? I have always like AC on the Tie Advance because I roll hits very poorly these days and I like always hits, but I can deny that a Range 1 shot with 1 crit and maybe 3 add hits is good.

I know everyone is in love with Guidance Chips over Long Range Scanners, but LRS is has a greater chance of damaging/killing a standard Fel loadout with a Homing Missile by a few points.

Math is fun.

No, I was just playing around with the calculator when I had the link open.

Also has a much better chance of showing your hand to him and never getting the shot at all.

If Fel wants to spend all game dodging one or more bombers range 2-3 arcs then he isn't doing much to help his allies. If you were super concerned about it you could always run a vet with Deadeye as well. You lose a bit of punch vs Crackshot, but you gain a lot of flexibility.

If someone playing Fel doesn't know he is already target #1 you're winning already. If you're playing against Fel and he isn't target #1, you're doing it wrong

I like LRS best on ships that don't have any Missiles or Torpedoes equipped.

TIE Shuttles with crack shot and Punishers with Bombs.

Also I kill Fel with bombs.

I one shot a standard fel today with a homing missile/crackshot. Thanks, LRS.

I prefer killing fel with Manaroo set up with Anti-pursuit and feed back (bump bump ZAP! ftw lol) but that has nothing to do with this topic. :P

Except TIE shuttles can't equip LRS

Indeed.

It's possible he meant just a naked bomber with crackshot? There was no mention of crew.

There's very little in the damage, the difference is getting the shot.
