Shadows and Dust OOC

Well, the initiative sheet has been updated.

Yeah. I've checked out the initiative sheet. Even without Parry he looks ready to kick all of our butts, not just our four-armed friends...

Well, this is what happens from 4000 years of Dark Side corruption

LastAbys: Yates doesn't have a weapon. Was that on purpose?

I'm going to put my money on the four armed dude without a Lightsaber.

I wouldn't be so sure of that.

Are my Wounds and Strain still as they were? or have they reset?

Edit: Oh and what are our ranges? I assume it will take maneuver to exit the pod?

Reset to full. And Sith Micc'm is allowing Garon first blows. DCCSS is the difficulty for a brawl attack

Medium range

And no need for spending a maneuver to exit the tube

LastAbys: Yates doesn't have a weapon. Was that on purpose?

Yes. 1. I'd rather not lose any Duty for either credits or XP. 2. When leaving a military, isn't it procedure to return all arms back to the quartermaster?

Not sure but that sounds reasonable.

Well two maneuvers to engage and brawl. I'll flip a destiny point for this.

Sweep the legs : 1eA+3eP+1eD+2eC+2eS 1 failure, 4 advantage, 1 Triumph, 1 Despair

Well now. That's certainly a result.

Can I spend some or all of those advantage to knock him on his back? And maybe the triumph to send knock his lightsaber out of his hands?

I'm open to suggestions.

Well, with the failure, the attack fails to connect, obviously. Triumph, you can say sparks shoot into his eyes from the shock gloves, upgrading the difficulty of his next check.

For that Despair, your shock gloves short out for 1 round. As far as the advantage go, you'll have to spend them on either a setback or some boosts

LastAbys. Time to introduce Yates to the campaign. Give me a hard Computers check

Okay, I'm flipping a Dark Side DP and using the threat as follows: Yates left the Imperial military machine, but they weren't so willing to let go. He boarded a transport vessel, but it was hunted down and destroyed by an ISD. Yates managed to escape in a pod that jettisoned in a reach of poorly charted space. Life support and power is failing, when astrogation locates a light freighter drifting in space not far from the pod's present location. He thinks he has power enough remaining to activate maneuvering thrusters and connect to the freighter's airlock. Aaaaaaaand go.

If I remember some of my backstory I wrote for him, ISB did tell his platoon to destroy a village. ISB doesn't like witnesses, so that would make sense.

Oh, and I need a hard Piloting (Space) check from Yates as well to successfully connect to the airlock.

You monster!

Any setback from the handling of the pod?

Edit: Can I spend a dark side point to give me a red? XD*

*Joke from my RL group as the Reds love a player in it.

Nah. I don't want to make it too hard on you yet.

Congratulations. Success with no threat means you connect successfully without damanging the escape pod or the airlock doors. Feel free to make your opening IC post.

Cool. And now I have even MORE motivation to not like the Imperials.

Initiative tracker question: Is the order listed the order in which PCs will be released from their pods?

To clarify, apart from Garon, are the others are in cryo at this time?

Sonovabith: correct.

Kymrel: they are in cryotubes but are not frozen

Good enough for me. I'll star working on an IC.
