Shadows and Dust OOC

Yes and yes.

*checks the spreadsheet*

It looks like it's a PC's turn, is that correct?

I'm currently at work so I'm not sure if I'll have time to post IC, but if it's available when I do have a moment to post, I'm going to take it,.

That's correct. It is a PC's turn.

In case you and sonovabith are wondering why there's an "Enemy NPC" slot at the bottom with 0 and 0, well, I have my reasons lol

Go ahead and take it. Tok's just going to start booking it for a ship on his turn. Though he will probably holler for Garon to not waste time on the Sith. I know that's never going to happen, but Tok would say it anyway. haha

I hadn't wondered. Until now. Tricksy GMses.

Well, the Inquisitorus section of FaD suggests the GM add an NPC slot at the end of the turn order at their own discretion if it's a single Inquisitor against multiple foes

I distinctly recall nobody asking. They really don't need to know just how outclassed they are. If the word "lord" in the description of the Sith did not bring that home they are beyond the subtle initiative order-changes :D

I have a pretty good idea on how royally boned Garon is, but he doesn't know that.

He'll probably take one good it with a lightsaber and run away with his metaphorical tail between his legs. Hopefully he can make it out in time.

Or he'll die and everyone can have a chuckle that the hot-headed Besalisk bought the farm in a Force Vision.

Well, with 18 wounds he just might survive long enough to do that. Or, he would have, if the Sith Lord didn't have a second initiative slot to finish him off -_-

Ah, to be fair, I don't know how Prophyt creates his Sith Lords. I only know the two I have created for my game would probably kill poor little Garon in one round. Two max. And mine don't get a bonus slot. They have things worse than a lightsaber to kill him with...

I used the Inquisitorus creation rules to make this one.

OK, so fairly tame compared to the main bad-ass Sith Lord I inflicted on my party. They sort of survived because of his hybernation sickness and the fact that he didn't want to risk his life fighting a battle he didn't have to fight. But that was one powerful Sith-dude... The other was built with the Inquisitor-rules in mind, with only slight alterations. My players managed to find the common sense to run the fekk away after killing his apprentice, before he showed up.

At any rate, this should be interesting

Bah. You thought throwing a grenade at two Sith earlier was a bad idea too. And it worked out just fine. I have to assume this will too.

Right?

Guys?

Helloooooooooo?

Okay. Kaosoe, it'll take 1 maneuver to get up from prone and 1 maneuver to get up in the Sith's business (he is also prone so you get a boost). He has Adversary 3, and defense 1 from his armor, so the complete difficulty to hit him is DCCS

And then he rolls nothing but successes and triumphs.

Not quite.

Brawl : 2eA+2eP+1eB+1eD+2eC+1eS 2 successes, 2 threat

Only 7 damage.

Garon gets a Setback in his next check. Saboteur slot

Saboteur runs for one of the warmed up ships.

Do you guys want to flip a DP to upgrade the Sith master's attack difficulty?

Does a Nexu eat its young?

Uhhh. I don't know. Does it?

I think so?

Okay flipping a DP then

The Sith Master stands up and straight punches Garon.

Out of my way, pup. : 3eP+1eD+1eC+1eS 0 successes, 1 advantage, 2 Triumph

Well this is interesting. Not a success, but I don't think I've ever rolled a doubor Triumph before.

1 Advantage to give himself a Boost. 1 triumph to upgrade his next check. 1 triumph to immediately perform a maneuver - he pulls out a Sith holocommunicator, activates it, and tosses it to Tok. On it is displayed his dead family.

I believe it is now Tok's turn.

I know someone who rolled 4 triumphs on a single successful non Doubled or Nothing roll. We just had him straight up win that instance. XD

I'm probably dooming myself, but I feel like Tok should have to make some sort of discipline check given what the pale bastard just tossed to him...

Maybe getting boost or upgrade because Micc'm just told him it's not real and just the force preying on his fears.

Daunting. I'll allow you an upgrade.

Fair enough.

No! It can't be! : 1eP+2eA+4eD 0 successes, 2 advantage
That could've been worse, but it's still not great.

Spend the advantages how you will. Tok doesn't outright believe the hologram, but doubt and fear will begin to eat away at him.
