Shadows and Dust OOC

So, Ren-Do is up?

I suppose I'll try to go for Stay on Target (upgrades once, adding an ability die), take 2 strain on myself and the fighter to Aim (second boost is for the droid) and then give the baddies hell...

Shooting baddies : 1eA+1eP+2eB+2eD+1eS 2 successes, 2 threat
Heyyy, a hit! That would be 7 damage. And 2 threats for the GM to abuse in an unspeakable manner.
I'll post IC once the GM has responded, telling me what effect my glorious shooting had.

Oh, I've planned 50 as the award for this BS I've put you all through since about halfway through 2b

All is forgiven :D

We may want to wait until we get the XP before absolving the GM of all wrong-doing. :)

Lol

Kymrel, which squadron did you attack?

I'm still following Rin, so anything he's facing, I guess.

Ron destroyed the last ship in squadron 2, so you need to pick a different target. Squadrons 4 5 and 6 are flying evasively, so I guess you shoot at squadron 3, destroying a ship. For the threat, you'll get an additional setback on Ren-Do's next check

An additional setback. Don't expect miracles from me next round, guys

But it makes sense that Ren-Do would go for easy targets. I'll post IC in a moment.

But now that people have confessed to having difficulties telling Rin and Ren(-Do) apart, you surely are not helping by adding a Ron to the whole mess :P

Next round, 1 Enemy slot removed per the destruction of squadron 2. The Sith cruiser moves into long range from the Jedi cruiser and opens fire. From this point forward in the space battle, either side of starfighters may spend 3 threat or 3 advantage for a bolt from the cruisers to hit/destroy a starfighter.

Forward turbolaser batteries, you may fire hwen ready. : 1eA+2eP+2eD+5eS 2 successes, 3 threat

12 total. Breach 3. 5 armor. Dealing 10 damage to the Jedi cruiser

2 PC slots. 3 threat to spend

Is the Jedi cruiser moving away, far enough to jump? Could Ren-Do (or any of the others) guess how long it will take until it gets far enough out of the gravity well to jump?

Jedi cruiser is still trying to program the navicomputer. Remember, the Sith forces have detonated the Cron Cluster and the ultimate result of this battle will be it crashing down on the surface of Nerit (one of Ossus's moons) with the Jedi in crytubes, per the opening scroll and prologue

I know, but I'm thinking in terms of the starfighters, how long would they imagine, not knowing the situation, they would have to hang in there?

Keeping in mind the Jedi code, they must consider surrender or retreat if they believe the battle is turning against them. But they also want to keep the library's artifacts out of Sith hands

Hold out as long as possible, but if they sustain too many losses, it will ultimately affect the path of the Jedi knights involved. Micc'm knows this. He will order retreat and has his own orders to bring down the Jedi cruiser, destroy it if necessary. DUN DUN DUN!

Would it be fair to suggest that the threat be used to have a Sith fighter be destroyed by the cruiser? It just happened to be between the cruisers when the Sith fired?

If that despair is still hanging out there, can the ever increasing debris upgrade the difficulty of the next shot of the Sith cruiser?

Yes, you may spend the threat to destroy a Sith starfighter of your choice

Ah shoot. I just realized I used the commander and Sith who are on the ship the boarding party are on by mistake.

But what happens if we succeed? I mean, captain winky-pants has already shown that the flow of the force is messed up. It's conceivable that since something has already changed and caught Micc'm off guard by doing so, the whole scenario could end differently, yeah?

I believe Xaramis is next.

Sonya is after him but since I will be at a family thing for the evening here is what Sonya will do.

Maneuver: Accelerate up to speed 4.

Action: Shoot at the Sith in squadron 3.

Shoot at the Dodgy Sith : 4eA+1eC+1eD+2eS 0 successes, 1 advantage
It could be worse. I will use the advantage to give a boost to whoever goes next.

Captain Winky-pants.

XD

Okay, so you guys have already kinda figured out that things are absurdly not right about this holocron, the Force visions, etc. But you don't yet know how wrong you are. Micc'm is operating under what he's "known" for the last 4000 years of mental and spiritual isolation. Not to mention any damage he suffered mentally when he died. So it's possible that he is very very wrong about what happened in the skies above Ossus.

So a PC is the BBEG, or are they taking on a new character? Also, how did you stat up Snoke? And how did the PC fight a thirty-foot-tall creature? Or is there something I've missed?

He's going to be the BBEG for the campaign. Also, I didn't think Snoke was a giant, so I based him on the idea that he's Gallus Rex.

*note: Stats are abbreviated and will only type parts that were used in fight.

Stats: 2/2/6/6/6/6 WT/ST: 35/35. Soak: 4. Def: 4/4

Skills: Cool 5, Disc 5, Lightsaber 5

Talents: Precision Strike, Adversary 3, Soft Spots, Parry/Reflect 9, Improved Parry/Reflect, Supreme Parry/Reflect.

Force: Sense(full), Suppress(Full), Protect/Unleash(Full), Foresee(Initiative), Bind(Full)

So is Xaramis taking the current slot or the next?

Either

Ok. I'm not sure when I'll be able to post next today so here's Kellen's turn.

Attacking Sith Squadron 5.

Boost from droid, Aim, pre scene bonus. Upgrade from last turn Stay on Target.

Attacking vs Evasive Maneuvers:

Gunnery : 2eP+3eB+1eD+1eC+1eS 0 successes, 1 threat
