Shadows and Dust OOC

By Prophyt, in Star Wars: Force and Destiny RPG

He he. I tend to let Ren-Do follow Rin's lead in this. He is really out of his element here.

I finally got my IC posted

I'll go for boosting the shields as well, since we will hit weapons range next round.

Boosting shields: 4eA+1eB+3eD 1 success, 1 advantage

Well, that won't last long. I'll recover one strain for the advantage.

It is now the turn of the Jedi cruiser, but since I am embroiled in battle in The Shadows Mark, I may take some time before I use that turn

Oops, if I acted out of turn, feel free to delay this until the next PC turn.

No, you're good. It's the cruiser turn after your turn, Kymrel. I was just updating you all

OMG Guys you need to take a look at The Shadows Mark OOC thread. I'm having an amazing run of luck attacking a Sith with Queg's energy bow

HOW?!!!

Kymrel, take notes...

I don't know how, but I am ECSTATIC

It was definitely one of those epic moments. Very cool.

He is lucky too, being thrown through glass and falling 30m to steel deck below would have sucked

Yes it certainly would have.

The Jedi cruiser uses maneuvering thrusters to angle their starboard side towards the battlefield. Then they ready their weapons systems.

Sith Squadron 1 Moves into Medium range from the Jedi cruiser and enacts Evasive Maneuvers.

Micc'm accelerates and enacts Stay on Target for the first squadron.

Sith Squadron 2 does the same maneuvers as the first squadron.

It is now a PC slot. IC post incoming

sonovabith: easy Computers check to open the blast doors. 1 Setback for the Sith Galactic Basic being slightly different from Republic Basic

OK, I'm going to have one of the saboteurs give Tok unskilled assistance since they are from the same era and if they were chosen for the mission they'd have some semblance of an idea about Sith basic.

Knock knock: 2eA+1eB+1eD+1eS 1 success, 1 threat
a-a.pnga-s.pngb-s.pngd-f-th.pngs-th.png
So, it opens.

Take 1 Strain for the threat.

The Blast doors open slowly with a hiss of hydraulic locks disengaging and the rattle of a pulley-chain system. The room ahead is brightly lit with white chemical lamps. It looks like a combination starfighter hangar and maintenance bay. There are several starfighters ready for flight and one or two in various states of deconstruction, presumably for routine maintenance.

Either sonovabith or kaosoe can make a Perception check for me. Average. 1 setback for all the possible places to hide in this room

I'll handle the roll, but I imagine Garon and Tok both will be looking for potential issues so I'm adding an unskilled assistance boost from him.

Looking for trouble: 2eA+1eP+1eB+2eD+1eS 3 successes
a-s.pnga-a-a.pngp-s-s.pngb-s-a.pngd-th-th.pngd-th.pngs-f.png

It appears I spot something. Let me know what and I'll IC it.

There's a woman and a man, both human, standing close together, giving orders to several maintenance crews. They're both clad throat to sole in black cloth. The man looks pale and a bit like an empty husk. The woman has an angry flush in her cheeks. There's an open blast door at the far end of the room, long range, that looks like it leads to the start of main engineering

they're about in the middle of the room, so medium range

Do they appear to notice us?

Give me a simple Stealth check and we'll find out

Just to confirm simple (no difficulty dice) or easy (D)?

Simple. But I'll add 1 setback for Garon's size.

Why did I even ask?

let's be sneaky: 4eA+1eS 4 successes, 2 advantage
a-s-a.pnga-s-a.pnga--.pnga-s-s.pngs--.png
That seems pretty definitive. Hopefully.

Yeah they don't see you. For now.

Welp, that's about to change. Tok has one of the saboteurs hand him a frag grenade, closes to short range, and tosses the grenade at the two dressed in black. I'll be flipping a DP for the attack. Do they have any armor or anything I need to account for? I'll be using one of my advantage from my previous check to take back a point of strain and using the other to give myself a boost for the grenade toss.
