yes
Shadows and Dust OOC
Flipping a DP since this seems important.
Where do we go now? : 1eA+2eP+3eD+1eS 2 failures
Well @&!#.
Wowzers. XD
The fire's probably too powerful and blinding the boarding team. Gonna need some flash goggles to help with that overpowering light.
Here is that boost die for the droid's help.
well then, can I get an average Vigilance check from Garon and Tok?
Vigilance
:
3eA+2eD
0 successes, 1 advantage
man oh man...I'm beginning to think we need to use a different dice rolling client...
Vigilance : 1eP+2eA+2eD 1 success, 2 advantage, 1 Triumph
That's more like it! What does Tok notice?
And so we're clear, Tok would have his guns out as soon as he got out of the transport.
Success with the Vigilance check means you don't blunder into the group of maintenance workers escorted by Imperial soldiers. You may use the Triumph to pull Garon out of the way if you wish.
I'll definitely do that. How many are there? And how many were on the landing vessel thatnwe just came in on?
1 squad of Imps - 5 soldiers. 4 Maintenance workers. The transport had 4 Republic saboteurs, but they didn't make it off the cruiser before it exploded in the actual event, so Micc'm assumed they didn't make it. So, there are 2 others aside from Garon and Tok.
High or low number? Pick one
Also, I'm missing 1 Piloting check still from...Richard.
Then we'll move on. I need to think about how to translate JR and CC's unsuccessful checks
We'll go low number.
Sure I can Fly : 2eA+1eP+3eB+3eD 2 successes
We'll go low number.
Low number, the other two saboteurs survived the crash : 1d100 13
Looks like you've got a couple minions on your heels
Hooray for meat shields!
Okay piloting results.
Success means you were able to get in the debris channel before the Sith cruisers detect you. Failure means the opposite.
sonovabith and kaosoe: the saboteurs have the same stats as Planetary Defense Troopers, pg 402 of the F&D CRB
I'd almost suggest using squads instead of a minion group, but. . . .no, you know what, squads would be great at the moment. Actual meat shields that could take a full hit and only one drops.
So to get an idea of the battlesphere, we've got:
- A large wall of debris roughly bisecting the combat zone, with a channel running through it that our transport is currently traversing
- On one side (behind us) is Ossus, on the other (ahead of us) is a larger battlefield with Republic and Sith cruisers heavily engaged
- We're moving through the channel, but Kellen and Xaramis were spotted by a formation of fighters following on behind us
Crucial question:
- What's nearby and trying to kill us?
Kellen and Xaramis actually either A) were detected by the Sith cruiser scans before they entered the channel, or B) didn't make it into the channel and thus entered the field of active scans
Answer: everything
Real answer: nothing is in the immediate vicinity trying to take you out, and the Sith cruisers will take a little time to relay information to the closest starfighter squadrons. Figure a round or two. Then then the attributes have to intercept or catch up to you. Considering the transports are forcing you to move slower, that won't take long
