Shadows and Dust OOC

What's the size of the ship's crew? Would Xaramis know the strength of the destroyer's complement? Is there any way to get to an intercom and warn the crew to go for an escape pod? And am I the only one who thinks that the best plan at this point is to just board the ship and not metagame our awareness of an anti-hyperspace tractor beam?

27 crew, 15 passengers

No

Perhaps. Tok's comm is tuned into the crew frequency

Yeeeesssss?

It is. But it's the principle of the thing, you see.

Also, the question about how to open the hangar door?

Not to mention my raft of questions.

Besides, we need for a certain member of the crew to escape, otherwise The Jewel of Yavin will make no sense!

I'm head cannoning that she sneaked off the archaeological ship and is currently holed up inside the ADZ. She's a wily veteran, she figured this whole thing out way before we did.

>.>; the Mandalorian woman? *scoff*

I like Ulric'a idea of faking a self destruct.

At the very least we should warn the crew

What kind of check can Kellen make to think of a way to fake a destruct sequence warning?

Just hack the communications systems from a computer terminal?

Have we seen an appropriate terminal?

the fake self-destruct sequence is a Deception check. No need to hack the comms, but there's a hostile NPC in the hangar with you guys, more on the way. So lot of Setback

The hangar door control terminal might work for comms

So are we rolling initiative or running away narratively?

Up to you guys.

If you guys are wondering about the hyperspace communications array, there's an apostrophe on the first post of this thread that links to the "true" ship sheet

I'm good with either. Tok would be leaving the cargo bay at this point. I think he would take his employer's message as the go ahead to do whatever was necessary to get away...including killing whomever gets in his way.

Is it initiative if we want to try to help the others on the Aurora Grey? A warning or fake self destruct?

Since Ren-Do was by the button to open the hangar doors he was also by a comm-unit as per the GM post. So he has now warned the crew, and is trying to board the ship. Whether or not he gets shot for his insolence remains to be seen.

Is it this one? If not, could you send the link, I can't see it.

Edit: I seem to have found it.

Deception? Great!

What's Kellen's difficulty and setback?

Ulric - should I assume an assist from Sonya on the deception check?

Are you going to look for Tok to get his comlink?

Are you going to look for Tok to get his comlink?

That's a good idea

Yes. I will assist on the deception.

Deception difficulty is DDCC for deceiving the whole ship

I need an Astrogation check for Rin. DC *flips a Destiny Point* 1 setback for working under pressure and 2 more for unfamiliarity with the current galactic map.

You all get into so much trouble just on my way home from work.

Does anyone mind another Jedi flashback?

This sure is a quick moving game, I went to sleep and the HK had barely hit the dirt, now we are up **** Creek!
