Shadows and Dust OOC

By Prophyt, in Star Wars: Force and Destiny RPG

Here is my contribution: Xaramis , a Falleen Mystic/Makashi Duellist (excuse the entry as Human, swsheets was being weird).

He's an adventuring noble, with a silver tongue and no shame whatsoever, who can talk his way into anywhere and slice his way in if things get too difficult.

If there are any slots open, let me know. I love playing Force users.

Slots still open! See if you can fill a role not already claimed by the other eager applicants :D

I've been itching to play an Warden, but it looks like you guys have enough muscle. Pathfinder would be fun, but I'm already currently playing an outdoorsy type in RichardBuxton's game.

Looks like you guys could use a Starfighter Ace or a Healer, but iI'm not sure. Any suggestions?

Hmm...healer maybe

"Harmer" would be more fun ;)

Bad Richard *sprays with a water bottle* Bad

Are you planning to have Xaramis not be one of the cryostasis PCs?

I always see Healer as a secondary Specialisation, its so focused in its talents that it kind of limits your spread... but then so are all the Lightsabre Specialisations i guess, and it would allow everyone to take a heavier beating which is always fun! But if Prophet thinks vehicle combat, or at least encounters in vehicles, will be common in the game then i say Starfighter Ace. Or have you (Prophyt) not thought that far ahead and will script according to the group?

*shakes head* Yes

I figured Starfighter Ace would synergize well with our Navigator. Though I don't want vehicle work to be his only shtick so I'll think on something to broaden him (or her) out.

Yes my Navigator will have skill with piloting eventually, but thats more in a co-pilot or "I fly the big ship while he/she protects us in the starfighter" kind of thing. Ultimately i would actually like to get Shadow as a second spec, to really broaden his skills in an urban setting.

I sorted out Rin's gear, keeping with the low-tech nature he is using low tech gear where possible, unfortunatly for him someone said "you need a blaster, here have this pistol" but he doesn't like it much! The basics of his story is that he was a Force Sensitive child who the Jedi of old took to be trained, he became accustomed to the advanced tech of that time period, but is struggling with the changes made to modern tech. Over time he will become comfortable with the equipment he has and that of the party, but he will always find adjusting to new technology a challenge.

Hmmmm I have a concept or two that might be fun. I'll toss together a sheet in a day or so. I'm currently wrapping up two weeks of work with no real day off as soon as I gain some free time to open the books (mid week it seems) I'll be good to make a sheet if spots are still open.

Yes, he's one of the contemporary characters who signed on to help out on the dig.

Well, I'm playing a healer of sorts. More like a combat medic, but with high Intellect, skill in Medicine, talents like Stimpack Specialization and Physician early in the tree it is pretty obvious to me that we don't need another character specialized in healing. Of course you can create what ever character you'd like. I'm sure Ren-Do would be thrilled to have someone to get him up when he gets downed, but in general I have that area covered pretty well.

We do need someone with some criminal skills though. Sneaking, breaking and entering. Some cunning stuff. Ren-Do is very far from being cunning...

I'm not sure that is the case at all! My Guardian is a decent combat character, but I would hope he won't be the best in the group with his rather limited skillset. Our Navigator is no combat machine, and although the Falleen can fight, he isn't really a tough combat character with Brawn 1 and 11 wounds ;)

In the long run I want to have Shadow as a second specialisation, becoming a silent stalker, tracker and navigator... But that Anatomy Lessons is calling me, putting Rin's high Intelect to good use.

Hi everyone, I present Tok, the Gotal Gadgeteer.

He's got a few of the cunning and sneaky skills covered, not all, but a few and the 4 Agility should help with the stealthy stuff.

Oddly, it looks like SWSheets doesn't have Gotal as a selectable species. Don't know what that's about.

Cool character. I take it he is part of the "people from the present"?

Oh and I liked that, with the context that he is a Gotal:

Never liked kids that much, really.

You can type it into the Species field sonovabith. When you select the dropdown just hit delete and type in whatever you want, then it will ask if you want to add what you typed in. It's not actually added to the database but it will show as the species for that character

Prophyt, now that we have the start of a beautiful group of miscreants, could you perhaps elaborate somewhat on the circumstances? For example, the one of us who were in cryo, do we know anything about why that was? Or do we wake up with no memories and no information about why we might be in that situation?

@Kymrel: I can't find the Balanced Hilt lightsaber attachment in any of my books, but I could be overlooking it. Can you tell me the book its from and its rarity rating?

@Richardbuxton: Can you please make beginning purchases for your character and let me know if anything has a rarity 6 or greater? Thanks

No problem. It's in the EotE Core book and the AoR core book as well.
