Once the others are through the hatch Xaramis is going to cross the room and attempt to sweet-talk whoever's outside into ignoring this cargo bay for a bit longer, then walk the rest of the way (updating those in the shafts, of course). What would the Charm check for that look like?

I'm confused, why isn't anybody posting their actions in the IC thread, with the results of the rolls? We could also try to lower each other down and receive each other, which should be good for a boost...

And I did totally have a climbing kit on my sheet before I decided to get a better first aid kit and had to cut something -_-

I should give everyone the low down on Rin a little bit. He is smart and plans ahead where possible, but I chose Dressellian for the explicit purpose of being able to Roleplay his dislike of 4000 years of technological advancement, I didn't buy down the racial trait of increasing the difficulty of any check to use advanced tech. I'm playing him partly like an old man stuck in his ways, and a little bit of a bushman who is rough around the edges, smart but not schooled.

Yeah, since we are sharing, the reason Ren-Do speaks so formally is to emphasize the difference between him and the "modern" people he's conversing with. He is rather smart and a cunning linguist though, so he'll pick up the modern slang soon enough. I plan to slowly fade out the formalities in his speech as we progress and he gets more comfortable with the modern times.

And he will be fairly quick to adapt. He is a firm believer in that whatever happens is the will of the Force. Including him being stuck in a cryo-tube for 4000 years and losing most of his memories and connection to the Force.

That's how I have done it in the past, that way the results are decided then the story can be narrated around it.

Generally, Ulric and Richard, you're right. Sometimes, however, it can sound like full IC posts are being posted in the OOC thread, neglecting the IC thread. Part of that is the GM's fault for not stepping in to let their players know they need to post their narratives to the result in the IC thread. The other part is that EotE, AoR, and F&D rely heavily on player narrative to progress story and events. In PbP, this makes the IC thread seem like it's stalled or lead to gaps in the IC narrative

Sonya's surprise attack kills the one of the Stormtroopers (minions don't have a Strain Threshold, so any Strain damage they receive is converted to Wounds).

Okay, so the Stormtrooper, with a higher number of Advantages in his Initiative roll, will go first.
There's a LOT of Advantages from your Athletics/Coordination checks, so you guys need to determine how to spend those.
Kymrel: Ren-Do does not successfully climb down, meaning he begins to fall. DD Athletics or Coordination check to negate falling damage (Richard, we did your Coordination check difficulty and results wrong, but we'll stick with you suffered no wounds for that reason)
Jedi Ronin: Kellen successfully manages to navigate the ventilation shaft, but suffers one strain for the Threat.
kaosoe: The Gundark manages to successfully reach the same level as the hangar bay with no complications.
ColonelCommissar: Xaramis's Charm difficulty is D to convince the Stormtrooper Sergeant at the door once he opens it.
