Shadows and Dust OOC

It may be a few days before I post an IC. if I have time tonight I will, but the these next few days are going to be busy for me.

So a player in my home group gave me an idea for a campaign/plot for this system, but I can't implement it in this campaign, because the timelines don't match

please, explain.

Im actually prepping for an entirely new campaign for my home group at the moment. ill probably throw a discussion up on the Gm forum to solicit ideas, but here is the setup:

Set post RotJ, in the time of the New Republic. the PC's where working for a relatively small salvage business based out of Cloud City. The original owner set up on CS to avoid some of the republics new taxes on salvaging Imperial war vessels. Unfortunately a tragic accident led to the destruction of the companies main transport, most of its employees and importantly the owner himself. This leaves the PC's with a barely functioning business and a small vessel, i'm thinking a G-9.

Im planing on writing characters from Debts to Pay (the Hutt), Beyond the Rim, and the Jewel of Yavin (the Art Collector) into the setting so i can run a modified version of each of those adventures. I may even use the Dead In the Water module, changing the Imperials to some other faction thats directly opposed to the PC's

I don't recall getting a confirmation on my triumph. I'm thinking we uncover some kyber crystal dust or something as positive proof that we are on the right track? If not, I'm not sure then how to use it.

Hmm. I'll let you use it as though Garon gets a one-time use of Sense that indicates the presence of kyber crystals below the structure

Once Tok's actions are resolved I will posts Garon's response.

I think I'll skip the perception check, to be honest. With only AA against DDDD S I think Ren-Do might do more harm than good with a bunch of threats...

Kellen senses the presence of concentrations of the Force in all directions, particularly from some distance under his feet. He also senses a darkness obscuring any further details, like a dense fog

(yes, I know this isn't how Sense is supposed to be used, but no one's complained so far XD)

Rin is preoccupied with reading the ancient scripts above the archway, so definitely not paying attention, also he is a seeker not a senser.

Could you perhaps tell us a little more about what we see? Is there a corridor leading into the structure right beyond the force field? What does the building look like? Is it tall, short, badly damaged etc.?
