The archway has two keystones. While Xaramis is staring at them, a tiny lightning beetle lands in one of his eyes and shocks him. He takes one strain.
Shadows and Dust OOC
You monster. How could you?
I'll get an IC post up tomorrow morning.
I've been away for the holidays - but I'm getting back into the swing of things this week
Well, Ren-Do is trying his best to find out if the force field is a dome, enclosing the entire building, or if it is a fence that we could possibly get over. Waiting for GM input on the IC post. If there is a check we could make to identify the type of force field or how best to get past one (would that be mechanics?) just let us know.
The field is only in the doorway, so the rock will either whoosh off into the distance or clatter against the side of the building.
It kinda looks like all PbP games for Star Wars here have slowed to a stop or crawl lately...
The holidays are rough for PbPs. And recovering from a lul is really difficult. I'm still interested in playing.
I am interested too. Should we be trying to figure out how to disable the force field? Something with the keystones?
Yes. Unless Xaramis tells the others, though, he's the only one who notices the two keystones
I'll get on that. To clarify: is a keystone a stone for entry or an architectural term I don't understand?
When I hear the word keystone, (other than nasty beer and the city in Colorado that the nasty beer is named for.) I think of arches.
kaosoe is correct.
Popping by to say Tok is one of my favorite characters I've created so I'd also like to see this game live on.
So is it a double-arched door therefore?
No it's more like the primary keystone has a smaller one slotted into it, which should make the arch weaker from an architectural standpoint
How high up is the keystone?
10 feet from the ground

Right, thanks. I'm not exactly knowledgeable in this field, so that's appreciated.
Just tell me if you need me to punch, lift, or throw a thing. Though if I need to throw a thing, it may not be an accurate throw.
Does anyone have Move they can use to push at it, see if it's a button kind of deal?
Edited by sonovabithDoes anyone have Move they can use to Mage hand it?
Not Ren-Do...
Do either the inner or outer keystone appear different, subtle glowing, anything like that?

Make a Perception check. Same difficulty as Xaramis's - minus any upgrades I did, and add a boost for Xaramis pointing out the oddity
Flipping a DP because, why not?
Wow. sure, 2 strain. Lots of those little lightning beetles flyin' around.
The secondary keystone isn't lit or anything, but it sure looks like a button of some kind
