Shadows and Dust OOC

I say smack them both and let Sonya, Garon, or Xaramis decide.

Or, you know, you could present your argument in a civilized manner...

OK, let's see what the others have to say about the two bossy people, Tok and Ren-Do...

Tok prefers "driven," thank you very much. Haha

Rin's shaking his head, then looking through his binoculars at the structure which are blurred thanks to the damaged hinge

The reason Tok gave for his grouping is fairly simple: He still considers himself in a protective position over everyone so he wants to put himself between them and danger and if stuff goes sideways at the front, he doesn't want to have to try shooting around everyone. He'd want Garon at his side because he trusts him in a fight, having just gone through it. And Rin upfront because he seems to know what he's talking about in regards to getting through the forest. He wanted a balanced attack at the rear and people he trusts keeping an eye on Yates, so that's why he suggested Ren-Do and Xaramis back there. Everyone else in the middle seemed like a good defensible position for side attacks.

EDIT: That said, he has no persuasion or leadership skills, so whatever works,

Well, I do not necessarily disagree. But I am playing a headstrong Jedi Knight who thinks he knows best and has a rather protective nature towards his companions.

I don't know how I'd post it IC, but I had an idea for the formation.

Rin and Kellen up front. Rin with his navigation and Kellen to watch for traps and other interesting things.

Ren-Do a bit behind them. With sense, his defensive capabilities, and healing he can help the vanguard.

Tok and Xaramis are the main group in mid. Tok has his dual pistols, so he can cover fore and rear without having to move to far. Xaramis can be moved to any location if his skills are needed. His is an effective communicator, and keeping him protected from the first wave of enemies would go long in easing the fight. Though Iskander could be put in that place instead so that his Stim Application could be more easily applied to the vanguard with little movement.

Sonya and Iskander come next a few paces behind. Sonya has her higher mobility and is more perceptive than the rest of the rearguard. Iskander, with the recently acquired pistol, assists at range. Stim application and medical checks can be applied easily.

Garon last, but not least. I'd rather not be the bad guy who tries to sneak up on the back of the party. High durability and with easy access to debilitating effects.

*Note: This is slightly biased on the growth potential of the characters.

Edit: GRAMMAR

I'm really sorry, I've had a lot on my plate in the last few days (finals for my least favourite module, though it is at least out of the way now). That said, I've held up the game, and I feel bad for doing so.

I personally favour LastAbys's plan. That said, I don't think we should go any further than Short range from one-another, and ideally we ought to stay in Engaged range at all times.

Oh no worries. The hold up was mostly my doing anyway

I can also take some credit (or blame) for starting the Great Marching Order Debate. I did not think it would tie us up for days...

Perfect grouping for grenades ;)

It wasn't worth posting, but Garon's in the boat of lets just get going. Plus, I also didn't want to post anything until we see what the result of all that survival rolling (unless that had already happened).

It already happened. The Survival check was for marching order, but there was much public outcry against my abuse of GM powers

Ahh, ok, now I understand.

Well let's just get moving then

agreed.

I've always had a distaste for the old school dungeon crawl marching order thing anyway.

Shadows Mark is dead again isn't it...

Shadows Mark is dead again isn't it...

Sadly, for the time being, yes . My ideas tap ran dry and I haven't had the heart to admit it.

Shame...

Queg was doing so well too.

Let me tell you, walking through the IKEA store is actually pretty fun, except you have to walk at least a mile before you find anything. Got new bookshelves for the parents and helped set them up.

Everyone ready to move forward?

I have been trying and failing to write an IC post for days but Rin just can't sing

I'm ready
