Quick question before I post. Would Ren-Do be able to make a Knowledge - Lore check in order to know something about lightsaber crystals? For example that they can come from varied sources (naturally occurring, linked to certain animals) and can both be linked to a vergence in the Force or not. Something to allow him to ramble a bit about it and possibly get some insights?

Setback on your next check. Ren-Do recalls that most crystals used for lightsaber construction have the ability to be attuned to the Force. Some crystals were more commonly used due to the accessibility of deposits. Ilum, for example. The Jedi order sent padawans to seek their crystals to teach them how to overcome obstacles and challenges through the combination of physical strength, mental acuity, and spiritual harmony through the Force. Latter methods, such as crafting synthetic crystals, we're disdained and viewed as Dark Side methods, because it required the user to manipulate the Force to one's own ends usually to make a weapon of violence.
