Shadows and Dust OOC

So are you guys going to the coordinates provided by the holocron or Tok's message?

I think we're doing the holocron coordinates. Rin was working on programming the jumps prior to Tok showing Garon the message.

Yep, that planet you found for us. Rin doesn't yet know of Toks employers drop point

I'd say we want to go with following the holocron coordinates, especially since Xaramis doesn't really know what's going on with Tok at this point.

Well, I'm really confused at the moment. We know something, but only some of us know more. Since those of us not too familiar with Tok's position were planning to travel to try to find crystals for our sabers (and, presumably guide Xaramis in building one) before attempting a rescue I presume we will go with that plan unless informed further of Tok's plight.

With that in mind, how specific were the holocron coordinates? Are they leading us to a specific spot on the ground?

They were just system and planet coordinates

Should I try rolling another int check to see if I understand Sonya?

It's not Garon's place to talk about it to the others, but he's not going to be happy about it. But he's never happy so that's nothing new.

Should I try rolling another int check to see if I understand Sonya?

Yes. Same difficulty, add a boost

You suffer 4 strain

I would think that during the day in Hyperspace the full story of Toks predicament would spread throughout the group. This ship is likely very under stocked with supplies so a stop over to at least pick up some food etc would be needed. If anything interesting happens on the planet then we could follow that lead, but a days stop would not be too excessive.

When Tok confronts his employer but before any trap is sprung the excuse of needing supplies is a good one for the question of "why did you take so long?"

The other reason: "Sorry boss, the line to vote took forever."

Would it be okay if I joined?

Apologies on the absence. Day job, freelance writing job and the lead up to whatever horrific mess that was yesterday derailed me.

Anyway, yes, I agree Tok's story comes out during the hyperspace travel. Once The current conversation has wrapped up, we can IC it if that works for everyone.

That's probably my fault.

Same issues as Sonova, only replace freelance writing with after-hours work and participating in 30-day world-building.

Sonya is done asking questions now, if you want to start the discussion.

Rin is happy to make a knowledge check to identify the planet prior to approaching.

Outer Rim. Hard.

Posted in the IC. Also, thank you Colonel for tossing in the answer about the ISB.

Why does this ring bells? : 4eA+3eD 0 successes, 1 threat

Rin thinks it's uninhabited?

Rin thinks it might be a large moon

Hm. Let's see if the planet jogs something lose in the amnesiac Jedi...

Knowledge - Outer Rim : 4eA+3eD 2 failures, 5 advantage
Well hm. An interesting result. He has no recolection of the planet, clearly, but what to do with the 5 advantages? Perhaps we can use the advantages later, when we meet one of the inhabitants, for Ren-Do to have a flashback and recall general details about that rather strange race from a previous encounter?

You can use 4 of the advantages to provide 2 boosts on a check of your choosing. Make note of it on your sheet

Sure. I'll hold on to those until something comes up that can prompt a memory and explain why I get the boosts.
