Which got me thinking, escape pods have hyperspace transceivers in them to ping out for help. A Star Destroyer would have strong enough computers to pull the frequencies of a freighter's pods off of the freighter's computer.

Prophyt, you mentioned Tok felt a soft, leathery substance in his pocket when he pulled out the datastick. While Rin is plotting some jumps, Tok will hit the refresher and look at it in private.

Just to be clear Rins biggest flaw is his combined 3 Willpower and 1 Presence. He is pig headed and not very good at being polite, even if it's unintentional. He isn't cunning so it's never intended, he is just a country kid with limited natural experience of talking with people.

I'm playing it up a little, while trying to not be out and out rude, just innocent stubbornness.
