I was wondering, what with the recent announcements of PDFs for WFRP3 and Dark Heresy, how long it will be until Rogue Trader gets a release on that format too. Anyone got a clue?
Rogue Trader PDF?
You can already get pdfs of the core rulebook...

Legally? Not interested if you mean pirate material (pun intended).
There is a coming soon link on drivethrurpg for those of us who think paying for things that we get is a reasonable idea.
To be honest piracy on gaming books isn't really a problem- most people will download the .pdf while waiting for delivery or to investigate a game, then buy it to actually run it because its just far easier and nicer to have the physical copy. I am in the UK so had to wait weeks for mine to arrive and had campaign prep to do- as I had already bought the data I was looking at I had no qualms about it.
Doesn't stop it being illegal however, and I'm pretty sure FFG don't appreciate you talking about pirating their book on their forum.
While such illegal activities may exist, we would prefer you did not discuss them here.
To clarify, I merely wanted to know if anyone had an idea when RT was available as a PDF to download from, for example, drivethrurpg. They have a 'coming soon' message for RT. I expect it will cost as much as the DH core rules, which to me represents good value. Any comment Sam?

And i'd prefer to have the goods I pay for the moment I pay for them but it's not a perfect world. I'm not the kind of downloader you need to worry about because I will buy the books regardless of any .pdf.
But I will stop discussing it here as per your request.

Its a shame FFG don't do it like they do on the pathfinder website, that works really well.
