Not a fan of the Zahn novels at all, nor many of his characters, that being said I think based off of what we can see that they're going to do a great job with him. Season 3 trailer was just amazing.

I think they may have essentially been replaced by the 2 leads in Rogue One. Kanan is also Katarn-esque.

Thrawn, YT-2400, Dark Troopers, possibly Fel and Tycho... man, you know what would be the icing on the cake? Thrawn leaving his capital ship inside an Assault Gunboat (all it takes is a scene of 4 seconds, Disney!).

I like how Rebels is aging their characters similar to how ahsoka aged in clone wars. I remember at some point Kanan caught a glancing lightsaber blow to the shoulder pauldron, and the mark stayed the rest of the series. Attention to details and many fewer "filler" episodes is making this an actually watchable show for me, whereas I really had to force myself through most of clone wars.

I noticed in the final few seconds Kanan has the green stuff coming out of his eyes, then when he try to stop Ezra with Maul he doesn't have his mask on. Is his sight going to be restored?
