Is that backwards compatible? Still new to android development. How many new features can you add before you break the app for older devices?
Startactics Squadbuilder
Don't worry, the portability will remain the same.
The features that old android versions can't reproduce, will be hidden =)
I wish it was on iOS.
Is there some reason why it isn't you think?

Hey man, yeas that is a couple reason:
First: money. I am a brazillian developer and Apple stuff in Brazil are terrible expensive. Buying a MAC and an Iphone would cost for me the next 4 YEARS of ads + backers. Yeah... Apple is expensive... You can say that I can use a "Hackintosh" to develop but hey, I stil have to buy a new computer and an Iphone (and iPad) for this =P. And beyond that, I have to pay every year to maitain my developer license (Google is only-time only, and half the price). That's an abuse that I do not agree.
As you can see, money is a problem for a Brazillian developer, and the ads and project backers can't maintain such a project.
Second and most important: Apple is unstable. My app could be banned from App Store for no single reason and all my work and investment gone away.
Hope I made myself clear. I tried to be the most transparent possible.

And how about windows phone?
I would love a squad builder app but no one makes them for windows

Incentive. That's pretty much it...
Like shinayser said above. The cost is greater than the potential gain. Therefore no incentive. There are also already some squadron builders on iOS. So add competition and your potential gain drops again.
I deal with the same thing on Cryodex. Feature requests from contributors are given a significantly higher priority. Buy me a case of beer and I'll do just about anything you want!
Hi Shinayser!
First I want to thank you for the work you do on this app. It is, IMO, currently the best squad building app available.
Just once thing I think would be a great addition: a copy/paste button for building squads with multiple occurrences if the same ship (A swarm !
).
(ah, and also, I think you forgot to add the T70 title from HotR preview).
Thanks again for the great app!
I read, Statistics Squadbuilder, and I was wondering what it could be?
Hey guys startactics just released a patch fixing the points and tie shuttle bug. I can't stress enough how great this app is if you are an Android user give it a shot.
