First of all it was a cute fun to build this ship. Especially that this is my first FFG mod.
You need to cut wings, remove cutted edges to make right possition of them. I did one more modyfication.
In half the length
of wings-cockpit connectors I removed small area to get them shorter.

It was a method like sponge, but instead sponge I used brush do get those inregular edges.
