Would anyone know what adventures to look into when I get home if I want a heavy space combat presence? I'm planning on having a pair of capitals duking out while fighter wings are doing their thing, then the party stumbles in and has to help out, probably by taking out bombers and hitting strategic points on the enemy capital.

Are there existing adventures and such I can look into that would be similar?

Have you played KOTOR?

Especially the first one I believe that deals with Taris and its eventual bombardment, that might not be a FFG adventure but would give you something to show your players about whats going on to compare with?

I don't think any published adventures have that, but check out Onlslaught at Arda. I see that as mass combat, and they do a good job at laying out a ground based mass combat that way. You just need to decide how the battle should proceed overall, and see if the players can change the outcome.
