I would love to see this game as an Ipod application.

Yeah, the I-pod app is great. I got this along with Settlers and have been playing both since.

Is there a high res iPad version yet?

There's a version online, too...it seems like a simple game, but I've yet to win. The strategy is quite different with four players than with my little travel edition.
