Cards I want to see in X-wing which you all will say pointless.

Cards I want to see in X-wing which you all will say pointless and say "here goes Jimbon again". Now give me bacon please.

Crix and Ackbar

These look fair and balanced.

I won't say 'pointless' but I will say they need quite a bit of work. Not in terms of power, but in terms of writing them concisely.

Crix Madine - is his ability supposed to be 'until the end of the round?' because otherwise you're gaining an agility every turn.....2 agility per turn if you use Push The Limit or similar to be able to acquire (and spend) both tokens.

S-Lock is too powerful at a -4 cost. You're essentially giving the ship SLAM (after a maneuver, perform another maneuver instead of shooting) except you still get your action....and a free evade token...and since it's not a SLAM action, you can do a K-turn then another (non-red) maneuver. You'd take far less card space if you just said "action bar gains SLAM"

T-65B makes an X-wing functionally unkillable. Which is, of course, correct for less well written star wars novel protagonists. But rather than being a title that lets you add a title, why not make it something else. A modification, for example?

(insert whiny voice) but what about the Empire....... :P

They're ugly, overpowered and ugly.

Did I mention they are not pretty?
No bacon for you, go back under the bridge

Ackbar would be more thematic if, for example, every allied ship got an extra attack die on one selected enemy target to "concentrate all fire power". An evade doesn't seem to sit right with him. Need to think about that 3 point cost as well :) Palp's 8 and he can only change one friendly die per turn.

S-lock is suppose to balance speed and maneuver. When wings are locked, the x-wing and other ships with s-lock fly faster, but can't attack. When unlocked, back to normal.

Why not Soontir Swell, Rebel Ace? Instant Rebel win, which seems to be the goal, if I'm reading the OP correctly. :)

Also, I already ate the bacon.

the way you made Crix Madine look like a peeping tom is kind of disturbing

Gail Ackbar:

At the start of the Activation phase choose one enemy ship. Each allied ship may place a target lock on the enemy ship if it's in range. Then, discard this card.

Crix Madine:
Once per round, after this ship spends a focus or target lock token, it may increase agility by 1. then recieve 1 stress.

S-lock
After you perform a maneuver and didn't overlap, you may perform a new green maneuver.

T-65b
Once per round, after you have defended, Add 1 shield.

Well, I mean, I have to admit that I'd use every one of your cards in every tournament.

So, there's that...

I'm good with Ackbar handing out evades. He does warn everyone about traps...

After they're already in it.

So it'd be more like "At the start of the turn, if there are any enemy ships on the map, every Rebel ship discards all Evade tokens, and does a random Turn or Bank"

Agreed. Maybe something like "At the start of a Combat Phase, declare one large or huge enemy ship as a target, and any Rebel ship attacking this ship from Range 1-2 this round gets one additional Attack die. Then discard this card" and make it somewhere 6-10 points.

Or maybe "at the start of the end phase, assign each ship an evade token". Haha, I suppose it would combo with comm relays :)

Agreed. But "give up your shooting to fly faster" already exists within the game mechanics. It's called the SLAM action. Why create a new variation on the same theme?

Also, in terms of power.

Also, FFG has extremely exacting language on rules cards to prevent confusion.

Gail Ackbar:

First sentence is fine. Second sentence; "Each Friendly Ship may acquire a target lock on the enemy ship if able".

I'd say Ackbar is primarily a 'concentrate fire' guy. You've got Riekann for improved PS and Leia for improved dials. Cost wise? Well, giving target locks to a big swathe of ships via XX-23 thread tracers costs 1 point plus a ship's shooting. 3 Points to do so automatically doesn't actually sound too unreasonable, especially since (if he takes 2 crew) he has limited options of where to sit.

Here's my useless contribution:

[crew, 4pts] Mercenary Contract

Your squad my include one ship from the [scum] faction.

"How do I know your crew will remain loyal? You're coming with me"

S-Foils

Modification

(you may equip another modification)

After performing a maneuver you may perform a free boost and/or barrel roll action and assign a weapons disabled token to this ship

T-65b

Title

Once per round after defending you may recover one shield

Mon Mothma

Once per round you may turn one discarded card on any friendly ship face-up

Crix Madine

-yours seems fine

Ackbar (Concentrate fire/it's a trap)

flip card

CF - discard this card at the beginning of combat and select one enemy ship, all attacks against that ship this turn may turn a blank to a focus.

Trap - discard this card at the beginning of combat, all other ships in range 1-2 may perform a free boost or evade action

no no

see, R3 astro is pointless

these are silly

Are you a click-bait-consultant?

Man, these cards are pointless.

Except for the ones that cost points. Those are pointful.
