Expansions coming out too fast?

Conan was taught control and not anger, definitely a Jedi.

I've always thought a great parody scene, before I saw AOTC, that it would be good if Yoda was being carried by some Jedi trainee and he is watching potential knights do their sword skills. Then he stops, adjusts the saber form of one of the students, and then, without showing any emotion, force throws the student backwards. Instead, we got younglings.

Is there a list of kits and what came with each kit somewhere for us newbies?

I just bought some royal guard reprint cards cause I couldn't figure out which kit they came in. I really want a couple of rebel Sab cards as well. I know those are relatively new though

We need a Conan ally pack.

They are not even released yet.

The replacement cards are in no expansion but are tournament participation prizes.

I saw some on ebay, that's why I thought they were released, our LGStore missed out on some FFGkits due to poor distribution and so I didn't know if I was going to get some or not. Our local IA group is fledgling at best

I meant, is there a list of which Alternative Art cards come with which kit?

Like the first kit had cards for elite Stormtroopers and Han or Chewie or something right?

This last one had elite Trandoshan Hunters and something else

Spring Kit 2016: Royal Guards

Summer Kit 2016: Saboteurs

Next Kit ... not announced yet, but supposedly Officers.

are there 3 a year? Is there a lag between the actual date of the tournament and the season named? or is that up to the TO

I just played in a tournament a month ago (first one) and I got Rebel Troopers and elite Trando Hunters and focus and stun tokens. Could some of those been leftovers maybe from previous kits I guess?

At the moment, there are 3 per year (Winter, Spring, Summer), but this will change to 4 per year soon.

Additionally, there are Store Championships, Regional Championships, National Championships (in the USA there are 2 National Championships) and World Championships.

Actually it's not "2 National Championships"...it's 1 National Championship that was played at Origins and then at GenCon in August is the North American Championships (Continentals) before Worlds (which is also in the USA currently...MN where FFG HQ is at).

FFG must have read my earlier post... playmats.

You can call it continentals, except using the same prize support as nationals (including the same byes as as nationals), a nationals bye from a regional can be used here, ...

Conan was also sent on a quest to keep a virgin chaste, and his companion was Wilt Chamberlain. What a horrible plan.

Conan is just Chewbacca after chemo.

I actually just sold my whole collection because of this. I had kept up through Return to Hoth then it just got to be too much. Return to Hoth, some character packs, Bespin, another handful of character packs, and then a third wave of character packs in the span of a little over 7 months is just too much to keep up with. Retail price on all of it is well over $200 and that's in just that short of a period.

Someone mentioned MtG earlier in the threaded far as being expensive, and it can be depending on what you want to do. The thing Magic has going for it though is there is a very robust secondary market for unloading cards. You likely won't be making money on it but if you know when to sell and when to buy then you can dramatically decrease your cost into the game.
