Don't wanna mess with that one!
I don't either!
Played the first two quests. The first is pretty tough but I manged to beat it first attempt. Tactics Legolas being able to place progress at key moments was ridiculously helpful in this quest as he allowed me to remove progress to avoid nasty enemy effects then replace that progress by Legolas taking said foe out. The second quest is **** tough for slower decks! I actually lost this one twice by "heating out" (as opposed to threating out
) and then won the third attempt on a whopping 58 on the heat level....
Haven't played the third quest yet but excited as it seems like the most fun with the objective heroes, cool quest stage design of rescuing heroes one at a time and the cool boss and uruk swarm showdown at the end.
Loving the new deluxe box thus far! Two really great quests that I can see myself replaying for sure. Glad I finally have a real copies (as opposed to proxies) of Gimli and Unlikely Friendship. Still trying to decide if I will remove anything from my decks to put in a few copies of the new leadership ally.
I finally beat the second quest yesterday, after upping the number of healing cards in the trap deck (playing 2 handed ranger traps and three hunters). Heat was at 56 on the final round.
Was slowed down mid game by the side quest that prevents heroes readying from player card effects - not ideal when using Leadership Aragorn, Gimli and Spirit Legolas.

Ah yes, the old boil over.
sorry if already covered - is the box a standard deluxe or is a rubbish side opener like dunwich legacy - hopefully it is one I can store the cards in once opened

I don't think they'll ever get back to the Old Ones. I hope I'm wrong, though.

The box is an old one - not like Dunwich
