If you honestly thought he was going to change his style, than I'm sorry for your naivete. I'm in the middle of Bloodline right now, but I'm looking forward to reading this. I enjoyed Aftermath, especially after I got used to the style.

Some of the other books like Tarkin, A New Dawn, and Lords of the Sith were actually pretty good. Lost stars did a better job setting up for TFA than the book actually made to lead into TFA.

I got further into Twilight than I ever managed with Aftermath. The fact that they were willing to let him write for something as big as Star Wars says miles and miles for the gross mentalities prevalent with the people handling the new canon.

A long commute and grunt analyst work is where I do all my listening. I prefer actually reading, but two kids and other factors make that time precious.

One of his problems is his writing style. He probably writes the way he does because he doesn't know how to type, hes a hunt and pecker, he uses one finger to type. You can feel it in the way he tells his stories.

I'm sure they can cut a contract. At the very least, they can at least apologize to fans and retcon the trilogy, and find someone competent to move in. EAware did that after the last Mass Effect novel because it really was a flaming ball of ****. I'd rather have Traviss write the new canonacity at the rate Disney is ******* things up, even if Disney is responsible for a lot of other bad writing decisions.
