Where is the Customer Service?

Ok so what everyone is saying is do I want some cheese with my wine?

Seriously though I am not looking for a freebee of any kind I am just looking for something other than a rude email saying i did not submit a picture showing any damage to the ship. When it is obvious there is damage. I am just trying to get some acknowledgement that they sold me a defective ship.

But whatever just thought I would bring it up to the community, guess I was the bad guy for wanting good customer service.

Text the image to a significant other or family member most phones will compress the image to send it as a text message quick and easy way to do it.

I've personally had 3 experiences with FFG customer service related to X-wing products

  • Interceptor peg was broken replaced and in my hand within 2 weeks of the ticket.
  • m3-a peg did not cast correctly and was filled in this was around release of the wave so a little longer but not bad maybe 3 weeks.
  • Lastly Inquisitors Tie (post merger) same issue as you however when i went to glue it back on the peg was to brittle and broke they did replace it but it took significantly longer then before around 6 weeks i think

If this is your first time with a peg/hole problem with an Xwing ship? If yes...congrats.The stands are NOT perfect...never have been. I have had at least 6 ships with peg/hole probs. NEVER hesitated to glue it.(Now I use magnets- highly recommend). I don't think X-wing models can be compared to zippers and dining out. But if you do compare these things- I can't help you.

I got one for my red interceptor, of course I was able to send them images in the format they asked for...

I agree with the OP about the issue of "out of the box and broken" My red Defender did the same thing. I thought about emailing FFG, but I just glued it. I have noticed some manufacturing issues the last few waves.

I finally got them to respond. Not sure if they are doing anything but at least they acknowledged the issue. Really that is all I am looking for. Thank you to those that understood my frustration and to those that wanted to flame me well that is fine too and I thank you as well. Because if everyone agreed with me this would be a boring world.

I bet I know who are actually responsible for the busted peg...

I will do as they ask since I went to all of this trouble. (I own 3 sets so it is not like I am going to be out a ship)

My second Firespray was missing the peg entirely. I had a replacement model -- not just a peg -- in hand a week after submitting the ticket.

I had a peg holder split, sent a mail with picture of it and a replacement is on its way now.

Seems like great customer service to me!

It sounds like the real problem here is that you don't know how to shrink photos. I suggest Googling it by literally typing into Google "how do I shrink photos below 2mb?". You will find the answers you seek.
