Wave 3 will stabilize the ridiculous rush for all the activations somewhat. I am sure some off-the-wall people will have like 7 flotillas and demolisher for lolz, but now you can play a big ship without worrying about being severely hamstrung when it comes to activations, as well as have a decent squadron presence due to the ease with which flotillas push them. I think they'll have an impact, as will Wave 4. And I'm hoping it comes out soon.

I can honestly understand the silence on FFG's part. I don't like it either, but if they say something and then can't deliver on it for whatever reason, there will be a ton more salty players that they would have to deal with than they have now.

I can pull out any game I have had for 30 years (example: Battle tech or warhammer 2nd ED.) and still have fun playing it and do all the time. No need or want for new anything.....

Why the need to keep adding more and more to games to want to keep playing them?? Do you really get that board without change all the time?

There are calls for expansions to Rebellion. I don't think they'll do expansions.

Regarding the map: it looks that way because there is a large unknown region on the western end of the galaxy. The map looks the way it does for this reason.

That said, I think I would like for there to be expansions, and I can think of some things they could add to it. However, I only think they'll do those expansions if Rebellion proves to be very popular. The jury is still out on that, I think.

Rebellion has no expansions. Rebellion needs no expansions. But if they ever make one there is a 99.9% chance that I'll get it. And yes Mikael we certainly do need to...July is pretty crazy for me but let's talk in a few weeks and figure something out.

And here, I was about to make a congratulatory post that there's been no "is armada dead?" Posts in quite some time...

Everyone is meta-stabilizied.

So everyone would be playing the same list? Say it isn't so, because that would be such a sad way to play this game.

If your meta has too many squadrons have a look at the ships that have two dice in the Anti-Squadron. That you can do in wave 0, the Nebulon-B Escort Frigate for example. If your meta has lots of small ships look at a few big ones. 2 ISD's (the 120 point one), 1 Raider and Motti will not only give them a hard time but the Squadrons too.

In some regards this one is on you and the people you play, make changes, try stuff even if it looks silly. If you aren't changing stuff neither will your meta.

This just sums up the thought process of modern society, nobody is prepared to wait, it's all "I want it yesterday". Next it'll be someone else's fault and a lawsuit......

For the record, the good admiral has apologised for his comments earlier this year and admitted he was wrong.

Wait. . . What's the issue? Something about a year? Well wave 1 dropped this time last year so that can't be it. . . Wave 2 dropped in December so that can't be it. . . Another reference to a year without news? No that can't be it. . . We just had 2 full waves previewed (X-Wing doesn't get that) and a competition. . .

You clearly understand the other point of view of things, but have decided to be a jerk anyway. Can you not see that?

I understand that multiple posts, every month or so, complaining about the state of the game (no matter how much/little has been announced or released) when you have everything but a release date for a ton of new content accomplishes nothing except make the community look like a bunch of whiners.

This thread is now 3 pages long. It has almost nothing to do with Armada as a game, but rather is people ranting back and forth about pretty much nothing.

The ships will come out when they come out. Screaming into the void won't change that.
